ha I do give great hugs 😀😉

I quite like doing the short sessions, they are good for making you ring the changes and think fast I still think we could learn a lot from match angling they don't sit about waiting for bites they make them happen

    Agree with this 100%

  2. Mrs kicked me out for the day so after the rugby went up the local. After a run of commons ended up with a couple of mirrors making an appearance. Both came within an hr of each other that left me covered in yogurt (don’t ask) and with 2 cold brews....... not that I’m complaining mind.

15,6 and 17,8 loving the 1st fishes colour will look proper in the winter 😬😎🎣8AD42C86-1E56-444D-9B30-AEF432F3AB46.thumb.jpeg.10a16a21e50daaef2b1f79046040589b.jpeg

All packed ready for France.... heading down to folkestone later this evening,  stopping in a hotel over night,  then its just a matter of getting up & getting on the train . Will be around 6 hours the other side so a bit of a road trip.

Fingers crossed for a good weeks fishing .... two of us with 20 odd acres to go at & some Big commons to try & trip up 😎

Proper in the sticks so not sure about 4g etc , but will hopefully keep you posted through out the week . Was good banter back in March at a different venue & bounced a few ideas off you lot which helped bank a couple of bonus fish  😎

Good luck,Phil. Who you going with mate,do we know him.

Im sure you’ll work hard at finding em and catching em ! Look forward to possible updates 😬😎🎣

What’s your preferred boilie on ABS mate?

I used there Plan b for 3 years and it held its own on my local that seen a lot of cell/mainline baits. Been on his i bait and mc nut for the last 2 seasons and it was a pretty instant hit. Not tried any of his newer bait (Hydra K and 2tb) simply because I’ve not needed to and I’ve total confidence in the bait........ if I don’t catch that’s down to me,not the bait. 😉😬

  7. When I first stepped up from pleasure angling to carp angling I thought a 10 was massive and an 8 just plain stupid 🙄

normally 6 sometimes 4 for me nowadays. I do go for 10,s on my zigs but in saying that I don’t catch big kippers like Yonny does so 10,s suit me fine. 😬

  8. Did a day session at the local dawn till dusk, managed 3 from the margins. had 2 dropped runs (doesn’t happen much there) after the 2nd dropped run changed set up and landed the next 2. Happy with that just need to stop using blunt hooks. Some old warriors there, lovely fish. 🙄😂😂😎🎣
