Thats the good thing about Brookfoot lake birds are not really a problem, got a few Canada geese on the lake and islands at mo but they are just noisy feckers

You could do with 6 rods in that swim looks so much to go for, I see the dude with the big bivvy is back… oh and nice reel  😎

Always there camping, never catches anything either,  most of the water out there has pads just under the surface and is pretty unfishable.

Back in the rat/wasp den now, wasps have stopped being so mental and settled into building the nest, even one of the rats went out early today because of the noisy neighbours (Not me BTW)

Sort of, their buoys. Had a small conger that went back in I fished with the brother-in-law had a laugh 👍

I can see the coyotes but no dog.

Best of luck and don’t forget the suntan lotion

Now the leaves are grown the tree at the right does look more like Scotty dog. Just to the right out of pic, there are a couple more trees that to my mind and imagination look like cartoon characters, a squirrel, a pig and a 1940's cartoon aborigine.

Lovely morning after a wet night.

I call the trees opposite Wile E Coyote and Scotty Dog.

I've had a few fish out of this swim in the past, but it is the area where I've seen the big uncaught common.

went on little lake today here is a rod shot pic with Diawa Proteus rod on my single rod pod, this pod is ideal for this lake as all the pegs are platforms and the ground either side of each platform is dam near impossible to get a bank stick in and one rod rule on little lake
