Threw £20 at a little temu haul, pair of croc type shoes for any night time dashes (more to the tiolet than the rods these days 😆), water bucket to replace my leaky old one, bait spoons, tackle pouch and some bait pots for my pop ups, plus some tiny pots ideal for soaking zig foam in, all in all pretty happy

Check out temu, I just picked up this bad boy for £22.96 I've been waiting for the right deal on this for ages and they knocked off £11 for me. And it's got lid ice packs. Screenshot_20250418_182231_com_einnovation_temu_ContainerActivity.thumb.jpg.7f9c2fbfd650a0171ee008befd14749f.jpg

A original version two ,Solar Sod pod ,the exterior leg version so I can fish two plus one on mega slate quarries ,( can't get banksticks in,, ever )...

Bit of autosol, elbow grease ,proper job ...totally against my minimalist principles, but ....needs must ...

Should be good ..

Just get. Bit of tape cover over the Sea and write carpdra, nobody would notice mate 👍

My temu one hasn't arrived yet

Sorry to hear it hasn’t arrived yet

If the box had a carpy name it would cost a £10 er more in the shop 🙄 talking of costing more,

Nx to the carp gear is the sea gear in my local and I was comparing prices of size 8 swivels and packets of beads and as you guessed the sea prices was half of the price of the carp gear and you got more,  that carp tax is shameful  😡

Put the word bass after it and it’s almost as expensive as the word carp lol

in the 00’s the word barbel was more expensive lol

I've only heard good things about this coolbox, albeit from youtube anglers.  Be interesting to hear what you think instead some paid angler saying how good it is.

I had a chat to a couple of sea anglers on my last trip they said they were happy with it saying it was solid having dropped it twice down rocks.  The thing with using it for sea fishing you’re opening it up 3=4 times a hour baiting up but they said the bait still stays chilled The one guy said his mate just filled it up with cans of larger and he was always happy with it till the last can went 😁

The last trip I had a gull take a packet of squid and Iv had rats taking bait so it’ll help with the thieving

Not sure it will be Jack Russell proof as my old Trakker found out

Hi mate I found a set of nash dwarfs 9ft 2.75lb were ideal for most of my pond fishing, stiff enough to send a 2.5oz lead as far as needed and they felt really nice playing carp, done more 20s than I can remember on them, and they would certainly be enough for bigger fish.

For a cheap bait boat, me and my dad share a actor baitboat by boatman. Its nothing fancy but will get your rig and some bait to them island's and over hanging trees 👍

Got a set of dwarfs, for the money they are amazing. Tbh I actually love fishing with them on the smaller waters. Couldn't recommend them higher

New bucket holding front barrow bar (left) to replace existing (right).

Not only is this a great idea they've fixed the 2 things my mate and I were discussing previously, too high and shelf not as low as it could be.

Might help me to get round without tipping over (live in hope) 🤣

How you getting on with it?

My Trakker bucket is a perfect fit, the Ridgemonkey bucket has little tabs in the corners that prevent it going upto the rim.

Planning on putting my front bag on top - first trip using this starts Thursday night 😎👍

I keep a 3L crafty catcher clear tub in it full with pellets and it hasn’t fallen out yet lol so you can put the smaller buckets in them which is a bonus.

this type below

but tbh I’m not much of a carper anymore nowadays so rarely go out with it.

the 9 footers sit better on it also as it’s lower.

wrapped it with pipe lagging so they don’t scratch 👍

i imagine using a bigger bucket the weight is even better distributed. I can push mine using 1 finger on each hand.

Nice one i've got a few of those smaller buckets and one from Kent particles.

Gonna try the big trakker bucket first trip and when taking very little bait will stick a water bottle in the bucket also for the weight distribution 👍

My Sonik hero x 10ft 3lb rods arrived while i was away, courier dropped them on footpath outside front door at 09.38, in full view of pavement and claims i signed for them but at that time i was 260 miles away from home, lucky my neighbour took them in, i am so tempted to file a non arrival claim but i dont like doing stuff like that, however the rods are very nice

Probably best you don't, you might be one of the unlucky ones who gets investigated by the post police, I could of took a short cut on a claim against me a few years back, would of got me paid out and all claims dropped, very underhand though, glad I took the long game, got paid in the end and all accounts are even.
