I think that a lot of Labour voters had the sudden realisation that they had made a huge mistake. If Andy Burnham would have got the top job, Labour could have won the last election. Now prove all those statements as factual, and not daily mail flannel guff, and for the record what is so wrong with trying to encourage peace talks rather than supplying more bombs ? Is it because there is no profit in that? I didn't really notice bozo doing anything much other than fuelling the fire, who are these wars for? And who ultimately loses each time? This proves my point! I'm so sorry mate. Please, please verify the media source. Do you believe that tripe!! As Elmo said, he met these people to try and achieve peace😔 The majority of his policies would of benefitted the majority of the country. Right wing media waged the biggest media war on him, to be unelectable. So as, not to see their huge profits being taxed. 3 hours ago, framey said: They are all as bad as each other and none of them are worth voting for Yes, but it's people that don't vote, that has allowed our country to be run into the ground. Golden Paws
No one wanted a war in Ukraine. (Although I do remember Elmo saying that it was Boris that had caused it?) What is the end point? Do we turn our backs on Ukraine and let Russia take over? (He got away with it in Crimea and though that he would again.) If he succeeds in taking Ukraine, what does he do next? History teaches us that ruthless dictators are never satisfied and he will probably be eying up one of the Baltic States next. And the next and the next until he's just over the English Channel. It's OK to be a pacifist until a tyrant is breathing down your neck. What would Jeremy do to achieve peace? How much would he give away? Would Putin be satisfied?

More cobblers, I probably said exactly what I said today, and that rather than diffuse it he would add more fuel to the fire, perhaps if the west weren't so Interested in the Ukraine and had kept there grubby little paws out it wouldn't have happened, it was just such a good untapped resource they couldn't resist, if you believe it's just about a tyrant then you are only seeing one side of the narrative,

Energy and fuel? & the one that sickens my stomach our beloved coastlines and waterways 😤🤬 C'mon sheeple, it takes the masses to effect change! elmoputney
For me it's the corruption in the tories that is so bare faced, that ignoring it is dangerous, look at liz truss she has been in the job a week already looking to borrow a further 150bn to subsidise the energy companies, who are already making vast profits for the shareholders each quarter, but not enough to reduce their profits with a windfall tax, now personally this is where Labour doesn't now go far enough now, and the only real solution should be renationalising our utilities, because bringing them back into public ownership would basically mean all profits would be reinvested rather than grifted into an offshore tax haven like they are now, there certainly wouldn't have been a cost of living crisis and the tax payers wouldn't be gifting some fat cats 150bn to essentially continue to overcharge us, But that's what you voted for, tories = corruption, sleaze, self interest and capitalism, its capitalism that causes wars, dumps sewage into your waterways, causes poverty, and keeps your wages low, it's capitalism that buys all the houses and rents them back to you at extortionate rates, and it's capitalism that is going to destroy the planet, Why do capitalists spend so long telling you socialism doesn't work? It's pretty simple the few want all the money and don't want you to stop giving them cheap labour, basically they enjoy having you as a slave and find many ways to make you poorer, basically they are parasites and they have an abundance of everything and you give your life to work and end up about as rich as when you started

...
Well.....was my birthday yesterday and it all went down hill from the moment I woke up. Wife got me a few bits for fishing, new Sonik Bobble Hat, n some bits.... THEN, on my way work the DPF light came in car, so I took it to motorway and gave it a good 30min blow out, thought it cleared it, then had an oil leak starting after that. Woke up this morning and it was like an oil bath, ring as many garages as I could find in Wigan, and on about the 20th he's fitted it in today....NOW problems are, Whistling Turbo, Leaking Turbo, Cracked oil pan, Broken Oil Seal, Broken Oil Plug.... £300 + and will get it back Wednesday..... Today I was going to book Cudmore for my birthday also off the Wife, but that has beenet down like a lead balloon.... Golden Paws
After absorbing the latest Truss budget and the wooing of rich bankers with unlimited bonuses, I'm concerned. Don't worry, I haven't turned into a Corbynite! She was elected by only about 200,000 Conservative Party members and I would fully agree that it's not democracy in it's true form. Especially as she came 3rd in the MP's voting until Penny Mourdant withdrew. Boris was a populist (sorry Elmo but he did have a certain charm and his bumbling persona was part of his appeal) but unfortunately he wore it out and his Party turned against him. I suspect a lot of Tory MP's might be like turkey's in regretting voting for an early Christmas!

You should have been worried ages ago this is just the final death rattle, they've already done much worse, they've done a destroy and exit now, even GB news has started praising starmer now, which Definately highlights how untrustworthy he is, The tories are finished they really don't have a leg to stand on now, you have kwasi on drugs at the queen's funeral making economic decisions and really bad ones, that will make us suffer for years to come, it's a class war now and if you can't see that then you will have a rude awakening sometime, I won't rise to the anti Corbyn comment, just let you know you are wrong but you will never seek to understand why, but you should the truth is out there, he will be reinstated soon, call it a hunch, As for Boris's charm, yes he was pretty good on have I got news for you, but the fact he pretty much got sacked from every job for lying, really never made him prime minister material, he was finished because of his corruption, they were quick to get rid of him because his ties with the kgb were about to come out, and we all know the tories really loved the oligarchy, if you still think tories have done a good job then it's looking really hopeless because I bet you can't name the things they've done well?
