didn't realise B B stood for Bjorn Borg, I knew you liked to make a racket

I thought you’ll be to young to remember Bjorn Borg 😳…and funny enough you mentioning a racket maybe get one to go with the fox pole, could get messy with hemp tho 😂

I've heard of him, he was a bit before my time lol, Doesn't look a bad shout tbh, I used to play for the school 30+ years ago, must still have the skills in the locker 😂

Waiting on 3 purchases woohoo!

Aqua Black front barrow bag - replacing my old Carp Porter front food bag, not totally sure on this one coz not a food bag as such, but should do the job. 🤞

Power barrow wheel bag, existing is too small.

Cotswold Wader bag - ready for Fortis Waders, out end of March apparently - like the look of this bag - like a bucket with lid so you can set waders up ready and keep in the bag/bucket with lid on to keep them dry and ready next to the rods, no more faffing about when the rain starts or forgetting and having wet waders 😎

So i am known for trying to do things on a budget, buying the less well known kit for a lower price, i decided to go over to single hookbait pop ups and ended up ordering 2 tubs of 15mm pop ups from a well known name, sweetcorn and a nut based, these were not cheap at £24.40 posted, they arrived today and 1st thing they are not 15mm more like 12-13mm the nut based smell like damp mould, and very hard to say what the sweetcorn smell of, part tempted to see if i can return them but guess i have to just stash them in a corner or something and buy more soddin pop ups but from a lower priced outfit, out of respect i wont name the brand

Sticky popups have done me well over the years mate and they are only like £6 a tub lol. I'm not a buoyancy guru but they stay popped up screwed onto spinner rig for 24 hrs 👍🤣

@jules007 can’t you give us a clue ?  Without naming, il be at my local tackle shop in the week could go under cover and do a bit of sniffing.

Don't want to name the bait, maybe they will produce and they not in tackle shops

Name and shame, I would also complain if you don't think they are any good.

Fair enough thanks for sharing. Have you looked at proper job pop ups, if I could only use one it would be these tbh. KLS in washed out pink a personal favourite, but tbh on their day they all work. I have tried and own lots of pop ups(I have a bit of a problem😂) and now the only ones I take are proper jobs and innovate bait.

Some fox rage gloves, a selection of halibut pellets from 3mm to 30mm and some rig tubing.

My son who's never really shown an interest in fishing want to catch a catfish. The nearest local for catfish requires you to have gloves and tubing if fishing for cats, so I'll give these a go.

I wouldn't be worried about contacting them about the issue. I'm sure they'll be more keen to know about potential problems ASAP than getting upset.

How a company deals with issues tells you what they are like and whether you should support them in the future. Give them a chance to put it right.

I ended up sending a message and they insisted on full refund so all good

I promised myself that I would stick with just a couple of tubs of pop-ups to match bottom baits, so now I have The Nutty Bait pop-ups in yellow, pink, original, my Spice Garlic pop-ups in pink, Monster Crab in purple and original, KMG in original. So far I've avoided the pineapple yellow fad again...

Glad you got that sorted. Better to give constructive complaint and get it refunded than fester in your mind.

Great to get them into fishing, my daughter was with me when I caught this one, fortunately it didn't provoke a strong desire to catch one herself 😂 but it's good to get them into it and outdoors so if that's what it takes, good luck. IMG_20230812_060214.thumb.jpg.c188a2dc060bcace5eaf946d1d8d99c6.jpg
