I wonder how many bad uns was in the 1st batch

I skipped breakfast, when I got hungry I had a banana around 9-10am with a small handful of nuts and raisins for lunch I had Weetabix with an apple , banana later when I got hungry again. sipping water all day would help. Main and only meal around 5 ish maybe a handful of mixed nuts and raisins while chilling out early evening. No food after 8 ish pm Only had coffee when I went fishing with treats so that wasn’t often 😏 it took about 2 wks to get used to the different times I ate had headaches and was a bit irritable think that was the lack of caffeine …Without realising it I was fasting for 12 hrs, now I couldn’t eat a big full meal if I wanted to… I wonder if our stomach shrinks with less food intake 🤔

Back last year in early September I was painting a customers bedroom and had to change my T-shirt looking across to a full length mirror i was a bit shocked but not how exceptional good looking I was but the size of my gut. Iv had an easier time in work and had put a bit of weight on almost a stone 😳 The customer bathroom scales didn’t lie … so nipped back into the bedroom took a pic in the mirror as a reference points for the future… I would post the pic but it wouldn’t get past the mods….. the good news is Iv lost the stone but god it was hard going.

Getting a fed up with all this wind and rain it’s never ending 🙄

Il be well happy with a healthy new year and finding more time to go fishing … hope the same for all the members 🤞

Iv been lucky with not getting Covid so far, hang on a min got to touch some wood, but I work on my own mostly and don’t come into contact with a lot of people. A landlord I work for has had Covid 3 times this year twice on holiday to the Le Mans race + Florida and last month. Last year he had it twice. 😳 Theres a flu like bug down my way hits you for 4 weeks Look after yourself lads.

Now don’t quote me here…but your nearest and dearest could be thinking that you got everything you need 🤔

Iv found as Iv got older I got less of the Xmas spirit… it has been mild of late that could have something to do with it for some people Merry Xmas mate and to all the members

I needed a book badly in work as Iv had to a job on day work rates this past week and been bored out of my skull, the painters have even told me to slow down 🙄 I’m literally getting paid to watch paint dry, anyways had a look on my Kindle app on my phone and found the above title by Dave Lane in my library, I purchased it in 2913 … what a read it is with lots of lol moments.with great skills ( I sounded like Danny then j and the tackle they used was a eye opener… I defo will be trying out running rigs more. Highly recommended 👍

Not a purchase but a gift off the son of the cleaner who works at a house Iv worked on, a carper he rolls his own bait and was having a sort out this is the second lo.t Iv had off him The boilies il keep are frozen and the tubs of pop ups il give away…any more than the 3 pots I use will only confuse me.

Great book was recommended by a customer. Well written, funny and incredibly moving, I did get emotional xxxxx

My advice is to give your good lady the credit card when you have a looksee on the buy sell sites 😏

So was I so popped over the local park last week for a cast was going to take some pics but forgot my phone been trying the South Africa cast which I used in my sea fishing days. It’s added distance to my cast over the overhead thump… No fish but came close to hitting a seagull tho

Not a new purchase for me but my mate got his future son Inlaw a hot water bottle for a trip this weekend Sadly he didn’t do the stopper up enough and woke up in the early hrs with a wet sleeping bag 😳 ended up sleeping with a black plastic bag around legs and feet

In my younger days I would be sea fishing all times 3 tides a week sometimes 4 if the cod were in, dig the worm low water and fish the tide up and down I had an arrangements with a mate who managed a butcher shop he would take all of the cod and swap it for meat. Talking of butchers shops where have they all gone used to have 4 of them in the high street now it’s the metros like Tesco and others that sell the meat. 😏

What happened to all the Sticky baits you had ?

Not to sure about match fishing but generally Fishing can be cheap or expensive it’s your choice all depends on how deep your pockets are. The basic gear that a beginner has to start the sport with is incredible value for money for the carp and course angler But the day ticket waters that hold large carp can be costly, great if you can join a club with lakes near you tho. I used to fish the Linear waters regularly but it was getting to expensive and to hard to find the time… 48 hr ticket is £66 for 3 rods now 🙄 add the share of the fuel and bait = around £100 ish, lucky I’m on a syndicate 15 mins away from my home which cost £350 a year

I worry what you put in one end comes out the other 🥵

Got my total for the maggs from this guy he seems to look like the right sort of guy to count a pint of the maggs

0 Multiple the above number by the 7 pints I fed works out around 30,954 …thank god for spoding 😏
