Never really thought about this , but if you're picking up sediment then is there any real point in using it ,your water must be clouded up and whatever line will be coated in the sediment, I'm thinking as long as the line is down and out the way then it doesn't matter what type it is ....

What are the chances of this ??? Had the day off work today and took the wife to Hunstanton , chips on the beach and a go on the 2p machines, driving home a car overtook us and pulled in front , same make and model just a different colour , it's number plate read NM06EVR ours is MM06EVR ..... Couldn't believe it and had to catch up just to check it out ......

I have been using the fox Heli system and connect my leads with a quick link, my swivel stays on the main line and I just attach the hook link with a loop on the end .. I normally use a multi rig and just do a loop at each end .

I've often wondered how much do the fish feed by sight rather than smelling out the baits, I do wonder if it's more of a curious pick up rather than attracting as something tasty to eat . on the lake I am fishing this time of year bright light coloured baits work quite well, but as the year gos on the darker colours seem to do better .. it's quite a clear water you can see down 2-3foot .

Is your water clear smufter ? I can't see the point in those pop-ups more to catch the fishermen than the fish I suspect ...

Don't think it's really for hard gravel , think it's really to help finding what silt your fishing over whether it's the good stuff or the smelly horrible one , I would like to see someone cast a old sweetcorn can out and get the same result ..... don't think I will bother getting one but I can see why some would....

Thinking about it you could probably get one from the camping shop , probably be cheaper to....
