salokcinnodrog
I managed to break a Gardner Braided hair needle this week pushing it through a hard boilie hookbait, well used and abused. It has also been used for needle knotting unleaded Solar Contour leaders, so snapping it was inevitable sooner or later. I've never found a better baiting needle than Gardner's. It's replacement, or two of have been purchased with more Duracell batteries. Cheaper to buy 4 than a pack of 3 Pro MN1604's. One for the receiver, 2 for Pike Fishing Delkims and a spare. I've also ordered Chris Yates new book from Little Egret Press

I wanted the sticks with a screw point my local didn’t have any. The reel is a Garbolino, 5000 size comes with a spare spool is smooth and has a nice line lay. Got that from my local I had 6 reels on the counter giving them all a spin this felt the best they check and match the best price on the interwebb And the tempest gear came from the local. I've enough to do a day session, this is what was/is my lads (6ft setup), but maybe doing 1/2 nights with my uncle for his birthday in September, so don't wanna spend big, but want something I could use as a day shelter/bivvy (if needed)... I've not wet a line since 7th October last year....

Higham1987
Well, I think that's the Day session gear sorted (unless I want a sling and some scales) Got some pegs from Halfords, Half Litre Fabsil. Spooled up the Float Rod, Washed and dried the Bivvy then gave a coat of Fabsil. Sorted the 1 Rod Carp Setup. Like this weekend I've been bored out my tree, SO...... got the gear to go this morning......NO LICENCE, couldn't be bothered fanny about so sorted all out so no dramas for next time. elmoputney
I went to the little shop and bought some expanding pellets and a couple of these little bad boys, After being inspired by BB, I felt when I can find them cruising in the channels I can plop one of these in front of them and it might be deadly and let's be honest who the hell does that kind of thing on a syndicate lake 😏 Edited July 22 by elmoputney kevtaylor, B B, commonly and 2 others
B B
Received the two floating feeders from flea bay today…the floating pellet's are Sticky baits in 11mm and 6mm that’s what I can get inside the bigger feeder still allowing to plug it with ground bait Higham1987 and elmoputney

Sounds like a plan 👍 You could also swap over to a floater bait if the sinking bait isn’t working commonly and elmoputney

Then in the 3rd cast I stuck it up an overhanging branch and smashed it getting it out.i went back to fishing on the deck after that, I did catch 2 and lost one though, a small one about 3lb and a scraper double and lost one, so more work required lol but I got out for a couple of hours. kevtaylor, barry211, commonly and 1 other
