  1. Hang on a minute, what has my missus been looking at???
  2. I thought porn wasn't allowed on here. It's a video n her breastickles star jiggling about!! Might have to go talk to myself about this. & I was going to have a night off!!
  3. I'm no expert and only seem to get perch. If you search previous threads, you'll find @nigewoodcock is the man & has put loads of info on how it's done to great effect. (well in theory, I've not stuck with it enough)
  4. Terrible news, I hope someone is held to account
  5. Might need to find a new venue for a while mate. Not good dogs dying, won't be long before the fish go belly up
  6. I'd spread a bit, maybe 1/2 k or so, 5 In a PVA stocking, with the hook bait. If your fishing a 'spot', if I wasn't too sure of a bite, maybe just 20 scattered around the hook bait, again with 5 in a stocking. Weather's a bit harsh, you are hardcore & I doff my cap to you sir & wish you nothing but, the very best of luck. (if you've gone)
  7. I showed my friend your comment yonny. He's been using them for the last 5 years (kept that quiet or I wasn't listening, probably the latter, πŸ˜‚) he had problems with the s2 splitting on the hair, hence using the stocking. Do you hair rig or lassoo?? We're there those issues a while ago, he's got a few different baits & glug, etc. from them. Maybe the current recipe is a bit more robust do you think?
  8. I was given some corkball s2's from a good Angler I know, he says I should stocking, armamesh it cos its likely to break down/come off the hair?? Anyone else had that issue with them? P. S. Thought I'd give em a go after reading this thread!! 😎
  9. They are like lemmings at certain times, I bopped one the other day. As Ian said lucky it's just a mirror, especially at speed. Be lucky
  10. I had one of those months, bills, fines, insurance hikes, yadee yaa. Courier van smashed my mirror the other day too. Annoying Febs here, weather's looking better so hopefully get the rods out soon
  11. It's reasonable, depends on what you are buying. Saw Jeremy wade one year, absolute legend! I haven't been for the last 2, but I've always had a bargain ot two. Eric's is normally the cheapest,
  12. You were on the money 1st off Imo, GT HD on my spools. No springing as yet been on my reels for 6 months or so. I have X line (fluro) on my spares Gardner HD floater line
  13. When do you get back to the UK?? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.thebigoneshow.co.uk/&ved=2ahUKEwisgfCcxJzgAhVUr3EKHeMLDeIQFjAAegQIBhAD&usg=AOvVaw1EOh3DsTUV_p6QTTnTFARi Late March, bargains to be had
  14. Yeah of Sandhurst lake, opposite, might of struggled landing anything over the boundary fences though.
  15. Oh yeah, stick on a 4oz lead, I use pva mesh with 5 freebies, get that range quite comfortably, if you had big pits you'd get a bit further. I remember going to Pads Yately for my 40th,with new said gear, 1st time out. 4 acres so about 90 yds to other side, I let rip on the 1st cast, straight over lake, bank & the 8ft boundary fence, oops!!! πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚
  16. I've got Sonik XTR's, 3.25 TC, 50 mm butt rings. A mate busted one, haven't been bothered to get a replacement yet, supposedly lifetime guarantee. But great action, I've cast small pva bags to around 80 yds comfortably. I also brought them from Eric's @the big one 5 years ago. Spent a grand, new shimy 10000 bait runners, bivvy, fox alarms (Got ATT'S now, look much tidier) & few other bits. They do better deals on the Sunday because they don't want to take gear back with them I guess. Highy has quite a bit of Sonik gear, so he'll tell you what the other gear is like.
  17. I used to feel that way until I joined a 2 Rod venue. Now only fish 2 wherever, makes me think more about the swim, etc., less disturbance on the water, etc.
  18. You had a bad day mate?? You go from compassion to sensible and then full on av it!! πŸ˜‚
  19. You know that! Ive had some late doubles that give a better account of themselves than some late 20's. Some of the bigger ones almost swim to the net!! If my memory serves me right! Like you say its been a while. Giving up my rock hard 30 fish in 9 acre Syndi, focusing on an almost untouched estate venue. They only go to mid 20, but hoping to be more successful this year🀞
  20. Let's hope your shirt was like a bream & the hook does what it's sposed to when you get a little scrapper on
  21. Does it grip in the serrated bend??? I take it by the fact you've done some rigs, that they look like they will do the job. As discussed on another thread on these, if they give a good hold & cause less mouth damage, I would definitely change to them. You're the official (not) Carp.Com field tester on this product.
  22. At least they should come out of your thumb easier than barbed one's
  23. I thought its monster baits??? πŸ€”
  24. Are you looking for sponsorship??? πŸ˜‚ Love em or hate em, they do decent end tackle
  25. I thought they'd of just slipped on those hooks?? I either split them or hook my finger! πŸ˜‚ Nice n neat. Combi??
