I had to get a few parts that were nicked from my garage, after trolling the web, I just went direct to Carp porter. They're very helpful. Part of the Korda family from what I can gather.

Fishing Tackle Reviews - What's Your Go-To Gear?
commonly replied to gluhunt54's topic in Carp Fishing Tackle and Equipment
I've tended to go middle of the road price wise. Currently using, Rod -free spirit Helical (13ft for my old reservoir ticket) Reels -Shimano 10000 xtr baitrunners (going strong after 11 years) Alarms- ATT's with deluxe receiver Line -Gardner Hydrotuff 18lb (for very snaggy res) Bivvy - JRC 2 man 2 skin (nearly good as new after 11 years) Hooklink -Rigmarole hydro link or flurocarbon. Hooks -Korda Krank, Kurv, chod & wide gape, in all sizes from 8-2. OMC Lock in 4, seems OK but not had them long. Barrow - Carp porter mk2 Bedchair - Lidsters xl. Not long had it, but seems well built. Had a few cheap ones, which are a waste of money. Nash indulgence gave up after about 3 years. I'm on the large side though. Scales -Ruben Heaton Sling and stink bag -Shimano Net- Sonik 2 piece. Handy for stalking. Had this a few years now, it's out lasted Trakker, Greys & JRC ones. There is loads to choose from different manufacturers, all pretty similar in their offerings & price range, it can be confusing. I try to keep everything simple.... A good tackle shop should set you up with reasonable kit if you tell them what kind of waters you're on Good luck -
Looks nice there Kev, enjoy!

Nice one mate. Always nice to get a bend in the rod.
-
One of the smallest in the lake, but really nice to get and bend in the rods, from an old 2 acre pond.

Amazing stuff, pull to straighten. It's the only hooking I use. I found Mouthtrap to be a bit springy/wirey and sometimes came back not straight, so needed to be steamed. I only used a few times before I found the one above.

Gardner ATTs Silent Alarms & ATTx Receiver
commonly replied to ...'s topic in Carp Fishing Tackle and Equipment
Mine have lasted 8-9 years in all weathers (I did loose one when I damaged the gasket during a battery change, my fault tbh) As @elmoputney says best alarms I've had. So simple that nothing can really to go wrong with them. -
I hope the birds leave you alone mate. Bd lucky

O! Damn, I've had a quick look and see any, but I'm mot signing up to Facepack. Maybe your OP was plagued with predicted text and just twisted my melon

It was meant as a bit of fun mate. Reading your post is a bit of a word salad and quite hard to understand
-
Maybe give it a miss before you post?

Have you bunked off work?

See you soon pal 🎣 -
I'm in damp proofing, so I'm looking forward to some extra business👌 Eco warriors, think they're doing the right thing, without actually weighing up the real world consequences. See the size of the rats in Brum!!!

It is quite heavy, but has the feel of decent quality and adequate strength to take my weight. Trying it out on the weekend, so I will let you know 👍

This just arrived. Got a £15 off voucher. Seems good quality and comfy, time will tell Thanks for the suggestions gents

Lovely golden lump, nice one. Zig, or bottom bait?
-
Get on it then mate.

Great in principle, but a few flaws imo. I would always want a groundsheet and don't want to make a hole in it, then when I put my weight on it, the bank stick would just sink into the ground, thus not providing any support. Just say it's really hard ground and I did put a hole in groundsheet, I don't think the plastic butt rest would last very long. Thanks anyway
