Everyone I know within a 5 mile radius has been bitten in the past 5-6 weeks. I had jungle formula on, sprayed the sheets (mmm that sweet aroma), but still had about 5 bites. Thankfully none in the past week.

Blue Algea and low water levels have meant its closed until further notice (significant rainfall I guess) Shame as im told there's 8 nice 30's to go at😒 Plan B produced a 38 common 2 weekends ago, so hopefully its hungry again🤞

Just found out the lake I've been waiting all summer to fish, is shut due to low water/oxygen levels😤 I'll find somewhere else for weds/Thurs night. I can't blooming wait

So after being on a red warning for water usage since May, we've run out of water again??? I mean seriously ???? This not bleeping funny 3 billion ltrs they waste every day apparently... Shareholders can't go without their profits and we wouldn't want just any mug as CEO, or whatever to miss his bonuses. That wouldn't be right??? How is it then, when in reality we're surrounded by water, on our little island, they tell me not to wash my car, water the garden, even avoid baths... Now I can't even wash the dishes.

Oh yeah. Went away for week and pulled out masses of it Ive tried a few treatments, but they dont seem to have much effect. Record temps maybe part of the reason. Well, I put 3 x 10cm grass carp in on Sunday. Haven't seen them since 😕

Nature can be cruel sometimes

So, I'm continuously being plagued by the blanket weeed, it literally grows while you watch it! I added 10 more snails, ive only seen a few lately, so fear that the pigeons, or magpies have eaten the majority of them. I hadn't want to, but am going to try a grass carp, or two. The Copdock pellet is certainly doing the trick @yonny, they're certainly growing and looking very healthy👍

Blanket weed is my only issue, or should I say was... I stopped feeding them about a week ago, it took a few days but they started feeding on it, but not enough to stop it spreading. So i ordered 15 trap door snails. They have been in 48 hrs and I can already see the pond getting clearer. Water quality is better than what comes out the tap
