Yeah mate tbf I'm on the one that is further out, the others are cut off with snags etc so each one has its own area to fish 👍 I'll get some pictures when I leave mate there's snags everywhere to the right of me 🤣

Yeah mate really nice place to fish from 👍 it's a new water for me and totally different to the reservoirs I fish so its a bit of a learning curve, got weed beds, lillies, lots of snags, clay spots, gravel bars etc. I'm on a clear spot 10 wraps out and fishing to that has been a challenge as I've been used to casting the rod as hard as I can 🤣 I plan on fishing to the snags when I get a better idea of the lake, but will settle for open spots until then, I'll also need to up my line to a fluro or braid I think. Also need to finesse my rigs and go a bit smaller lol So I'm fishing the top end of the lake mate which was flooded to make the lake bigger, there's no swims as the water just goes into the trees etc, looks like mangroves 🤣 at the top there's 4 platforms that go out of sticks for you to fish from 👍 You can also feel the platform rock when you move 😬🤣

I've just got home mate, bailed out of that the bivvy ended up flooding 🤣 be back in the next day or so but will be fishing from a wooden platform that's out in the lake 👍 gotta screw the bivvy down to it which should be fun 👍🤣

Managed to get setup just before the rain 🤙 I'm on a new water so just waiting for it to get light so I can try and find a bar thats out there. The wind should be pushing into this bay later so hopefully I've made the right decision going into this swim 🤣

Hi mate I've got a burco, but I don't have a basket for it yet 🤦‍♂️🤣 It's took me just over an hour to do them all on the cooker 🤣 if I had to guess probably 8kg of bait 🤔

So a 48 egg mix took 6456g of basemix 👍 just giving them a boil now 👍 boiling is my bottle neck atm, something to work on 👍🤣

Its the night time bites that are the worst for me, during the day I keep the waders next to the rods so I just slip my trainers off and step into them, but at night I keep them in front of my bedchair so I can slip them on as I get out of bed. Usually if it's a slow take I can get them on without issue but when it's a one toner, getting them on totally leave my mind and I'm running down over stones in my socks, then find myself walking back up the bank with rod in hand trying to get them from the bivvy and put them on. Can be a right nightmare 🤣🤣
