Can't comment on the liver mate but all the other hydros have been spot on for me π I'm the same mate, if I'm using a fish meal I want a fishy meaty spicy smell to it, if I'm using a milky nut bait I want it sweet π€£
-
Never used the hydro liver, but used hydro active wheat, hydro shrimp and the ocean+. I've used them for rolling baits and also coating the baits when fishing. I normally put a kilo or two in a bucket, a cap full of hydro and some warm water. I've liked all my stuff from aa baits and have confidence in them. I will be trying the hydro liver soon when I go back to my lt94 bait π

Thanks for the replies π I'll see how I get on, if it starts pulling through the sleep system and gets damp inside it ill get a waterproof cover π

Is it something to worry about mate? I'm a bit paranoid about it pulling through and ruining the sleep system lol. Nash hide xl mate and no wrap or skull cap, I do have a door for it but only use that if the rain is driving in lol. Yeah it was a bit frosty π€£

This morning I woke up to the top of my sleep system damp, is this the heat coming off the bag and meeting the cold air? Just wondering if something like this would stop it: https://thetackletavern.co.uk/product/nash-waterproof-bedchair-cover-camo/?attribute_type=Wide I don't think its from the bivvy itself, I always get condensation on the inside but doesn't make the sleep system damp if that makes sense lol.

I'll have a look when I get home mate, didn't even give it a thought tbh lol
-
I'm gonna keep it in the car as a back up mate, that's if it still works to be fair it's been in the shed for 3 or 4 years now π€¦ββοΈπ€£

Thanks mate I'll have a look π the kettle worked this morning but next thing on my list is getting my bedchair a cover, the top of it is well damp π¬
-
Might have to fish it out mate ππ€£

Anyone still using a Coleman petrol stove? What's your thoughts on petrol and potentially contaminating rigs etc by touching them after using the stove? Got a few cold days ahead and I'm debating whether I should use it or not π€£

New bait done well, multiple tench and my first carp from the complex at 27lb 14oz π

Sadly caught it on the carp gear mate, ripped off like a carp as well π€£ but yeah really pleased with it and has made my session so far π

Thanks yonny I'll give them a miss π I think im gonna get a set of waterproof trousers and a jacket, I find the gear I got keeps me warm enough but it's not waterproof lol. My biggest issue is feet and I'm a struggling with what to wear lol. The lake I'm on at the moment the swims are flooded, I can get away with wellies but wearing them for most of the day and not getting cold damp feet is a struggle π€£ can you recommend anything that I can put in them lol, I've got these socks designed for wellies but they don't seem that good lol.

Exactly that mate, when I'm having a chat about it, I just show them a picture of it and say this is the one I'm after ππ€£

Brilliant mate, a 1 large egg mix works out to be able 135g of basemix I believe but i think i made it a little too dry last time , so will try 1 medium egg, 10g egg white powder and 100g basemix π just gonna roll them into balls with my hand π
-
Got this from tesco mate, will work it out for a 2 egg mix to test tomorrow π I really like to be using the same hookbait as to what I'm feeding lol, I've got some essential cell hard hookers for backup though mate π
-
Appreciate that mate will see what I can get ππ
-
Thanks for the replies guys π I will get some bits ordered πis there anything I could do as a quick fix for a session tomorrow? I have left over semo, soya flour, corn flour, wheatgerm if it helps? Or could I boil and dry them for longer?
-
I might have to adjust the basemix a little or boil the hookbaits for a bit longer, I find they take on water quite quick and breakdown, ideal in the spod mix but as a hookbait I'm not so sure. After being on the rig for a couple hours you could squeeze them and they just go to mush lol. I've only done it as I'll be on the bank pretty much all the time for the next few weeks so just being able to nip home and grab a few bags will be ideal π€I've got bags of tigers, pigeon conditioner, maize and hemp in the freezer ready to go ππ
