Got this from tesco mate, will work it out for a 2 egg mix to test tomorrow π I really like to be using the same hookbait as to what I'm feeding lol, I've got some essential cell hard hookers for backup though mate π
-
Appreciate that mate will see what I can get ππ

Thanks for the replies guys π I will get some bits ordered πis there anything I could do as a quick fix for a session tomorrow? I have left over semo, soya flour, corn flour, wheatgerm if it helps? Or could I boil and dry them for longer?
-
I might have to adjust the basemix a little or boil the hookbaits for a bit longer, I find they take on water quite quick and breakdown, ideal in the spod mix but as a hookbait I'm not so sure. After being on the rig for a couple hours you could squeeze them and they just go to mush lol. I've only done it as I'll be on the bank pretty much all the time for the next few weeks so just being able to nip home and grab a few bags will be ideal π€I've got bags of tigers, pigeon conditioner, maize and hemp in the freezer ready to go ππ

Power bank that fast charges
jh92 replied to Andrew Taylor's topic in Carp Fishing Tackle and Equipment
I use an allpowers r600, charges my phone the same speed as it would via mains at home π also has a wireless charger on top, when I use it it comes up on my phone that it's using wireless fast charge π its a bit of a beast/bulky but will keep all my devices charged for a 5 days+ without recharging it. You can also get a solar panel for it so you can charge it up on the bank (haven't needed to use mine yet so can't comment on speed) If I remember correctly it only takes a couple hours to charge it at home π -
15kg sack of flaked maize, lots of bird life and silvers bream etc on my new water so gonna get them to clear my spot π€£π€£

Was a bit ropey screwing the bivvy down this morning as it was still a bit windy ππ€£

Yeah mate tbf I'm on the one that is further out, the others are cut off with snags etc so each one has its own area to fish π I'll get some pictures when I leave mate there's snags everywhere to the right of me π€£

Yeah mate really nice place to fish from π it's a new water for me and totally different to the reservoirs I fish so its a bit of a learning curve, got weed beds, lillies, lots of snags, clay spots, gravel bars etc. I'm on a clear spot 10 wraps out and fishing to that has been a challenge as I've been used to casting the rod as hard as I can π€£ I plan on fishing to the snags when I get a better idea of the lake, but will settle for open spots until then, I'll also need to up my line to a fluro or braid I think. Also need to finesse my rigs and go a bit smaller lol So I'm fishing the top end of the lake mate which was flooded to make the lake bigger, there's no swims as the water just goes into the trees etc, looks like mangroves π€£ at the top there's 4 platforms that go out of sticks for you to fish from π You can also feel the platform rock when you move π¬π€£

Should be alright mate, got 10 screws with washers so the bivvy shouldn't go anywhere ππ€£

I've just got home mate, bailed out of that the bivvy ended up flooding π€£ be back in the next day or so but will be fishing from a wooden platform that's out in the lake π gotta screw the bivvy down to it which should be fun ππ€£

I've made a boo boo coming here ππ€£ mate there's thunder, lightning, hailstones π€£π€£π€£

Managed to get setup just before the rain π€ I'm on a new water so just waiting for it to get light so I can try and find a bar thats out there. The wind should be pushing into this bay later so hopefully I've made the right decision going into this swim π€£

I dunno if its a good idea but off fishing tomorrow for a couple nights, got that storm rolling in early Friday morning, 65 - 70mph wind gusts π€£

8075g of bait π got 7633 in boilie, 442 in paste π Gone for 18mm dumbells π even though it rolled well, I'm wondering if I added a little too much basemix, next time I'm thinking I might add like 100 - 200g less and let it rest a bit longer π

Anyone out over the next few days? I've just watched the forecast and it's saying low pressure coming in, gales and rain π€

Appreciate it mate, I'll try and get something sorted for when I next roll, quite a nice burco, think it's like a 65l one but wide instead of tall ππ
