Yeah mate very disappointed with myself. Well that was chaotic, took a few attempts getting it all lined up correctly to auto cut the sausage etc 🤣🤣🤣 I've learnt a lot in the last hour, the machine is quick and I was not prepared for how quick the tray filled up with baits and getting them into the other trays before the next lot came out the machine 🤦‍♂️🤣 The machine came with a precut nozzle but will need to cut a new one for future use as the one it came with is producing dumbells at the moment lol Not a problem tho cos they will be going out by boat/spomb 👍 Been boiling them on the cooker until the first few float then putting them into trays to dry, but it's a slow process so gonna need to get a burco or maybe a fryer 🤔 Anyway I'm happy with it, just need to get a routine sorted and it will produce a lot of bait in no time 👍👍👍

Took a while to sort out because of work etc. But have pretty much everything sorted now (dough mixer next on the list lol) Just washed the extruder and gave the roller a wipe down to get the factory residue off, got a batch of basemix weighed up, so will be rolling in the next hour or so. Will post some updates. Hopefully it goes well 👍🤣

I think most particles can spoil after a while mate and can put the fish off 🤔 I prefer to use fresh, up to a few days old. I also drain/freeze it in zip lock bags, store the juices in a bottle in the freezer and when thawing out add it back to the particle with some extras. I normally use condensed milk and evaporated milk. Makes a nice cloud 👍 My particle mix at the moment is hemp, standard and jumbo tigers, whole maize and flaked maize. Jumbo tiger with a piece of pop up maize as the hook bait 👍

Can anyone suggest an air compressor for a 8kg extruder? From my understanding I need an 8 bar one that is oil free. I'm not too sure on the tank size though. Also, does low noise/silent ones work as efficiently as a normal one? Thanks 👍

I roll mine right down to the wellie and have them infront of the bedchair so as I get off the bed I step into them and pull then up as I get out the bivvy. If it's one of them bites where it's just a few beeps I get the waders on without issue. When it's a one toner I'm running out the door in my socks 🤣 it's a real struggle trying to grab them from the door with a rod in your hand 🤦‍♂️🤣

Upper tamar reservoir has 2 sheds, one on the Devon bank, the other on the Cornwall bank, they are basically a concrete base and a shed on top lol. Good head of carp in there 👍 I think Stafford Moor fishery has a lake with lodges on and a decent fish, might be worth having a look 👍 Also check the catch app mate, pretty sure you can change the settings on accommodation 👍

Agreed. The forecast for my 6 drip was dry.. spent half the trip with the door down because of driving rain 🤣🤣

Another little mirror 👍 I'm home now, yesterday it rained relentlessly from around 11am all the way until 6am this morning, was driving towards the door so had the door down all day and night 💤🤣 had 2 wicked battles in the night, wading out into choppy water with waves riding up my waders, big wind and heavy rain, loved it 🤣 There's was a break in the rain this morning so packed up and got out of there before the next lot hits which is due to last until late Monday, so called it quits lol. Caught 5 carp in the end, 3 commons and 2 mirrors. 16mm white sticky krill pop ups done produced the most bites, so gonna have to up my game and start giving pop ups a try on different venues lol There's some cracking fish in there and I can't wait to return in September 👍 Now have the task of drying everything out 🤣

Bites have been slow on bottom baits so chucked out a white krill pop up on a slip d and it's produced a fish in a matter of hours 👍🤣 Got a small lovely mirror in the sling. Just waiting for the rain to ease and will get some pics 👍👍

Determined to catch a few more before I go tomorrow. Might even stay on until Monday 🤣

Sealed my waders with fantastic elastic flexible glue, £1.59 from poundland, it's done the job 👌 My mate had to go home on day 4 for work, but I stuck it out. My session has been saved by a small common tonight 👍 Happy days 👍
