  1. Gemini do some fluoro solid bag drop off leaders, they also do a tubing kit with stems and stuff, but I've decided that's too faffy, if I am doing solid bags I'm using leaders from now, i use the Gardner camflex unleaded leader I think it sinks well enough, https://www.geminicarptackle.com/shop/100-fluorocarbon-leaders/double-ring-swivel/
  2. I love a little afternoon nap quite often I get shouted at, punched, kicked, jumped on, scared witless If I dare to try it whilst the family are around though, so annoying I just want a nap lol they reckon I snore or something and the misses has set this precident where its OK to wake me up if I dare to try it 😳 Sometimes after I walk the dogs and they are out though,we settle down and we all have a little nap, bliss πŸ’€
  3. I did a photo of it chucked in the boot its pretty flat plus the wheel and handles, that is the main bag on top and the water carrier is housed by one of the front panniers, It is quite long but flat it is a great barrow though the galaxy is smaller but I quite like it seems stable and easy to push and load That's it fully laden 2 buckets, bedchair, food bag, clothes bag, rods, bivvy and all my tackle and bits fit in the underbelly (which like the fox have side access)
  4. That's a bite, nice bag 😎
  5. Tonight I have actually been to a gig Absolutely brilliant it was too
  6. I had one of them I broke it 😳
  7. That's a mad amount of weight for a bivvy, wouldn't want to barrow that too far I always think they look good if you fancy having a kick about though the front would make a good set of goalposts
  8. You still have the same bankside references with a deeper though, to me it is basically like a marker float only one that tells you a little more info Sadly I doubt your map would still be accurate, the pads and weed has changed a lot of previously great features, I tend to use my deeper as and when I need to find a spot,a rarely even look at the maps I've made, tbh I have used a bare marker lead and a deeper on Virginia both have a place because I don't think either tell you the complete story
  9. Glad you sorted it, I soak my line for a bit then use a line spooler these days, I find it works well and gives you a fairly even tension, I took Β£90 in the end for them, another thing I don't have to store now, I'm quite enjoying getting money back rather than just spending πŸ˜‚
  10. If you are still struggling have a look at line spoolers, they help sort out the tension a lot, I sold my evos at the weekend 😭 How many washers have you got on your evos?
  11. Just checked the calender I am on earlies that week so could maybe pop in with an order one evening πŸ‘
  12. No but he does make a mean Pablo escoburger πŸ˜‚
  13. I know @kevtaylor likes an avid product, he might be able to help
  14. Literally up the road from me, but I've never fished it, the exclusive lake seems to have some nice fish in though, its probably a lot quiter there now too as the A14 has moved, I always planned to join one day but its kind of become a bit famous now and they've closed the waiting list maybe one day 😭 There is an award winning kebab van about 6 miles away πŸ₯‡collection only but it is a bit good πŸ˜‚
  15. That looks weedy Highy, I can recommend a good weed rake if you want one πŸ‘
  16. Well so far my mobile approach has meant I've caught on all 3 of my rods πŸ˜‚ Left bream (a double i should think ) Middle tench (quite a big one) Right rudd (1lbish) So at least my spots are OK Just need a carp now and I will win the drennan Cup πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
  17. Cambridge way??? Anywhere nice?
  18. No rudd pic poxy thing, was a lovely trap I had set now I've got that darkness doubt from rechecking it 😬 That's overnight light for me πŸ˜‚
  19. Just caught my first fish of the year, A poxy rudd 😬 I barrowed but little point really can't move anywhere its rammed 😭
  20. Car is loaded just got that tossy work thing to do then it's straight down the A14 to the lake, I am going full barrow mode today, I am traveling pretty light for me, no chair, no toy boat, essentials only, feels like the first chance I've had where I may have a chance πŸ€”
  21. This guy is pretty decent I've learnt a bit from watching his videos That being said my pair of spaniels are difficult to manage still πŸ˜‚
  22. I worked with a bloke who had a camper conversion one of those he used to do lots of walking and sleep in it from time to time, would be ideal
  23. I have a pretty big car lol grande c max, The barrow bags are removable and have a zip lid top so I am now using that to just store all the bits in and when I am at the lake it slides under the bedchair which is nice, wheels and handles off frame folds flat, not too bad for space really
  24. That was the only nutty one I could see, sound good though
  25. I can pretty much guarantee they will work, to me if it says proper job it's usually a good pop up
