  1. I think I must be overcharging my RM light , I charge it nearly everytime I go, I love a red light setting I do, just nice to see a bit and not let it blind you, The boilies look good Highy mucky but nice 👍
  2. Looks pretty nice that line, let me know how you get on with it
  3. Totally agree, it was when I found out homelessness could be eradicated for a lot less than the cost of our failed track and trace app that the penny really dropped, capitalism relies on poverty and homelessness to sell the dream you can achieve great wealth, and live the dream, when the reality is the dice are loaded and being privileged from birth gives you a much better education and grounding, which is sadly lacking in underfunded state schools but this goverment relies on keeping people poor and stupid, so the common man can make the elite richer through hard work for no real gain other than survival ,
  4. You are right and I agree with you,and you have every right to be negative, I'm sorry for your loss pal, I saw something yesterday that was interesting the police don't prevent crime they turn up after it has happened, crime prevention needs to be tackled and that means stopping people living in poverty and giving them better choices, Until we get rid of this goverment, it's not going to get any better
  5. I once heard a story 2nd hand about a certain water near me that will remain nameless but apparently Gary Beyes was fishing it at the time and there were loads of crayfish in there and it was a nightmare, one day he was fishing eating a curry at the time (maybe ) and all of a sudden hundreds of crayfish all came walking out the lake and just went somewhere else, never to be seen again, they didn't know how they had got there, but they just got up and left My disclaimer is I have no knowledge if this is actually true,I didn't really know the guy that told me, but what a great story, would be amazing if it was true wouldn't it ? 👌
  6. Have you seen Julian Cundiffs variation on the multi rig? I went through a phase when I quite liked it, it's just the addition of shrink tube really but it stops it slipping so easily, I tend to mainly use Ronnie's now though, with a gemini stiff boom so they are nearly always fishing for me , I found the rudd were causing all sorts of damage to supple rigs and they would often come back tangled, I've been playing with thinking tackle noodle kickers in solid bags though lately, look pretty useful but so far I've not caught using one 😂 I just prefer to have some kind of kicker though with whatever rig, the middle one in pic was my old bag rig I would still happily use that too, although I prefer a wide gape now, I think I have almost got to the point where I am confident with whatever I chuck out but I can't help enjoying a Tinker at times, it's nice to see if you can improve things
  7. Good luck Nick, lovely sunrise

  13. I did have my hat on and the navitas onesie, didn't stop me blanking, I think my car felt sorry for me as that wanted me to stay at the lake longer, I had to get a jump start on the way home too, but I got home eventually, 2022 hasn't started that well, and my new bedchair is bent, 😭😭😭😭 2021 with a 99p disguise kit on so far
  14. Same is planned for Cambridge, its a cop out to pretend they are trying to deal with climate change by doing nothing apart from opening their palm for your money to fall Into
  15. Ooogh that looks like another goverment stealth tax 😭
  16. I did go fairly easy in the end, they werent very nice, I got them from work so they probably didn't pay much for them, can't go giving shareholders profits to the minions now can they 😂 It's nice to be out Ive even heard a few boshing and the last one sounded near to my pub chucked solid bag, there is slight hope anyway

  18. Took a little while had to go and buy a booster from Halfords, I've got 2 rods out in the dark and sort of found some spots pub chucks tonight lol but I am sort of fishing 😂 got the house up now going to make the 3rd a solid bag rod and pump that into the abyss too, I'm not in a bad area to listen for signs though and I found some rudd flipping so thought if they are here there may also be carp

  20. Sad to hear that mate, but I hope it all goes well for you this year and she gets the all clear, just remember it's always good to talk about things, even if you don't think you are struggling, it always helps to spread the load, All the best Elmo
  21. Yes happy new year to you all hope its a good one. I popped the question this morning, and my wife from del monte she said yes Now I am frantically scrambling round defrosting bait and charging stuff up, for a cheeky overnight one, it's going to be a slight race against the darkness but will be so nice to be out again I can't wait, woooooooooooohoooooooo
  22. Thanks nick that's a good idea I think adding the egg might work better for sticking the powders to the outside of the bait I've noticed they can just wash off if they aren't prepped that well 👍
  23. @Highy I saw this deal and thought it may be of use to you, https://www.carpology.net/shop/special-offers/sticky-10kg-super-sub-deal/?fbclid=IwAR06_fKJoXdAAhZ_H4wu5JHamJkWZVbvxlhUspQMXQjMuEVSvT10ROeUWnI
  24. Sounds like a good idea to me, can't hurt to give yourself a bit more of an advantage, that active mix groundbait is good stuff, I will probably coat them in that as I still have some in the garage
  25. I've been a little bored and been thinking about pastes a lot lately, I've decided to try and make some cultured hookbaits , I've taken some citruz wafters, given them a gooing and boosting and I have wrapped them in some paste, next I am going to air dry them for a few days, then probably coat them in a powder of some sort, this is the only paste I have presently but if they work I will make some match the hatch ones also, I think paste is probably an underused tactic nowadays and could be quite a fun thing to have a play with this year anyone else ever use paste these days?
