  1. That's a fair point, I would like to add anytime I did any cooking, tea making etc I did open the fart flap more to let air in, this was mainly when it rained hard
  2. The calm after the storm, still blanked though.
  3. Is this View of your bivvy door group ? This is my view currently, little gap is the fart extruder, it's pretty windy today πŸ˜‚
  4. I've stuck a zig out, desperate times call for a fathom height zig.
  5. I'm blanking in the cold and now rain still got 24 hours to go though πŸ™for a bite now
  6. I went Friday, didn't catch anything πŸ˜‚
  7. I caught this one while it was absolutely chucking it down about this time last year, the downpour made me think I had no chance and was going to be on the end of a two night blank. Luckily this one ignored the script and I was happy to get a soaking. Packing up in the rain wasn't much fun though. But you won't catch em at home.
  8. Very smart, I did notice the fish outside at the garden centre had slowed down a bit the other day, weren't so bothered about the pellets floating on the top. Hopefully won't be long till it's British record time 😎
  9. I use the fox tadpole set up with solid bags and leaders, because you remove the original insert on the fox lead, they have a decent sized hole that easily comes off the tadpole insert which is kind of designed to be like a shock system if that makes sense πŸ˜‚
  10. Not really, sometimes get the odd bit of weed on the knot but nothing you wouldn't probably get otherwise.
  11. Yeah I always use loop to loop, never had an issue.
  12. It would appear we have been blessed with a spam javelin.
  13. Yeah weed, pretty much stops it on the lake I fish.
  14. Cant wait thanks. After last year's success, I fancy making it my winter go to this year.
  15. I'm getting keen to get the flips flops out again.
  16. I agree with the others, you might as well have a bash at those whackers, you've got the ticket and you may as well, you might find you enjoy it when you catch another one. That being said I couldn't be bothered to go tonight, I was so tired last night I couldn't be harrised to sort my kit out just to rush before dark, so I didn't πŸ˜‚ You might find the banks are a bit quieter now and that might help you to enjoy it. Rather than comparing it to the other place look at the challenge you are faced with and think how best to catch them whackers.
  17. No I'm not either, I am doing an overnighter Friday that's probably it for the month πŸ˜‚ Well done Kev some absolute crackers and sounds like you got it sussed. Good observation on the spots too. It made me think how often I expected to catch more but hadn't. Not something I would usually even consider tbh πŸ‘

That's what I thought too, you could buy a sack of pellets for that.
  22. It's probably more for reducing the volume I would assume. You would like to think they had made it fully waterproof. The atts were always supplied with a 2 mag roller, I use the 4 mag all the time I fine them perfect for what I need, a worthwhile purchase.

Thanks for that timely input I was thinking it could be a right edge but I can't be bothered to harvest them, that takes a lot of effort and I hope it pays off for him, looks like it's back to plan 3283638 for me then πŸ˜‚
