  1. Probably not nowadays,Cheap shimanos are pony, get some okuma Inc solid dependable and have a 5yr warranty.
  2. They do a 12.5" and a 15" but I think they look a bit cheap I did have a look at some in a shop a while ago.
  3. Yeah I've been looking for a while lol, that's the matrix ones in stainless I found, i have an 11.5" fixed rear and an adjustable 11" matrix black out, front bar, I bought the adjustable because the original back rest was too snug (9.5") Quite like the look of the dymag ones
  4. Yeah I would prime it first otherwise It would just flake off, it just seems a bit wrong to decide to buy something that will need painting, or I could try and remind myself it won't catch me anymore fish 😂
  5. I'm looking at 14" rear and 16" fronts at the moment. I can only get them in stainless though, and can't decide if I should get some and paint them, not sure how stainless would look with black banksticks.
  6. I keep thinking I want some really wide goalposts. I'm the anticarpy 👹
  7. Bite lights for my spod /marker float , I think this will be brilliant for night spombing and sneaky baiting https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1C5uMRH126/ and some pva bag swivels
  8. Good to know Vitalin is making a come back, I am genuinely interested in this shop though, on paper they have some great products would be interested to know if they are as decent as they sound.
  9. I was more interested in the pellets/particles tbh, I get my boilies from a trusted source, they do a molassed mix of flakes and wheat and stuff which looks interesting.
  10. Yep I guess it would get boring if you always caught what you wanted, at least you caught though well done.
  11. They have some very interesting products in their range, might be worth a look. Just wondered if anyone else has used them? https://cmcsfishfeed.com/
  12. Good luck
  13. You need em like this, if you wanna catch a fish My wife is trying to sew a jumper up at the minute, she also needs magnifying goggles I think 😂
  14. Another good one this week on a homemade stick mix https://youtu.be/qd2rp5IK7Os?si=vQmfBuHxkpZ7Fu2u
  15. I've always worn glasses does that make ultra carpy 🤓
  16. I did see this one but I would want the matching light saber. https://www.amazon.co.uk/YOCTOSUN-Magnifying-Detachable-Rechargeable-Magnifier/dp/B0B7J9MDCL/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=3DLUM5GSA4CIL&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.qSwR2NhTpK6Lbx0H0SXtGwJHR6LGvLPwgQ1sN7QKj-Z0gYjlAJ9jAwPg_jsdXYr2yF1gmrhoce1OsbixoLnO62uSQFD5uX-jHzp8o7k-oMwNIzAzrqDLAIuoSKhAU6LRsWd3I4LzBUhOMY4Pi6Isn9wcGdD_OU63InLGY4GyX1qLtC9dMv-Bxjads9_nv9VXJi-Ndsw8JBble0-zpla0Hw.1eNzyH7wMQk0zBRxYvrrzEOfm3SdKX67sQxVrtS8mmg&dib_tag=se&keywords=magnifying+glasses+for+hobbies&nsdOptOutParam=true&qid=1734027452&sprefix=Magnify%2Caps%2C146&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
  17. 😂😂 I can't risk it then. I've already invested too much thought into this capture 😂 What about if your rods aren't level?
  18. 😂😂😂😂 You said if you use a Magnifying glass you won't catch a 68lb common cos it will know you cheated 😂
  19. I seem fine with coated braid still so won't be caving in and cheating just yet, I will just have to move the goalposts a little as time draws on 😂 He was joking I think 🤔
  20. Already wear varifocals, but I still look over the top of them 😁 If it doesn't get any easier I will try one lol Most of the time it's fine when I use boom and krimps, but I wanted a solid bag rig, ended up using a coated braid and stripping half of it, not as supple but easier to tie.
  21. Use some kind of magnifying glass to aid with tying rigs? I'm really struggling to see close up at the moment, uncoated braid was a nightmare when I tried a rig yesterday, in the coming years I think I will have to use wire and shark hooks to be able to tie them. I was told it was the bait boat of the rig tying world to use a magnifying glass and that it was cheating 😮😭😱
  22. If you are happy using them then don't worry about it. Why do you want to change?
  23. You have to celebrate those small wins Kev, it's good to still be winning
  24. You can still get hydrotuff I don't think chuck Norris uses GT HD, but he does use use hydrotuff because it's the only line strong enough to pull doors off with his teeth.
  25. that Elmo is always right 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I've not used it, it's meant to be good but I switched to 12lb Gt80+ which is 0.35mm line and essentially the same B/S as 15lb GT HD, it casts well, sinks well, highly abrasion resistant and low stretch which I believe is also GTHD main selling point.
