  1. Just the name annoys me, they could be the best boilies in the world and I wouldn't use them.
  2. I like the claw hammer for an unsharpened hook they are naturally pretty sharp.
  3. Conditions look perfect, probably shouldn't have spombed the granny out of it for a 2hr session 😬
  4. They love garlic because it can help them get rid of parasites.
  5. Yeah I think they will work nicely tbh but only time will tell. Thanks I don't think I've got any silicone that size at the moment, will get some and have a try. I don't mind having to tie a whole rig everytime if it means it's perfect. Shrink tube heating can be a chore though, would probably mean just doing some in advance at times.
  6. First attempt size 4 ESP Claw hammer 20lb hybrid stiff. The business end 2nd attempt J Precision long gape, n trap soft I think I prefer option 1 so far. I also need some bulk shrink tube lol.
  7. Thanks Do you use the silicone like M Holly? If so does it stop the hook pulling like a traditional multi rig?
  8. Yep coating back to below the shrink tube kicker so it can turn a bit more freely
  9. With my spinner rig becoming pretty much completed and I don't think there is anything more that can really be done with it. I'm a bit bored of it now,😬 Time for a new challenge. I'm going to only use slip d rigs from now and see where that takes me, something Kev said got me thinking about all the clutter on rigs so I thought it might be nice to lose some of it, and go back to basics. I'm going to start with a shrink tube kicker and probably a wide gape as I felt that looked pretty good when I tied some up the other day. I like the fact I can get some seperation and also have a nice low pop up. I tied some up using a coated braid but, one thing I do like about my. Spinner rigs is the use of stiff boom material ironically called Boom. So I will try and incorporate that at some point. Once I've played some more I will add some pics and stuff
  10. Went for a few hours today, nothing else to say about it really, had a sandwich and some millionaire shortbread, the morrisons garage on the way now has a Greggs just hope it doesn't get looted before I try it 😂
  11. No problem they are just quite enormous 😂 Thanks 👍
  12. Thanks are there any others that are better, I want some for fishing and dog walking?
  13. Yes I mean that man 😂
  14. I've read lots about them being great, are they great for bulky calved gents like myself?
  15. Never caught a bream on boilies then? Bream, like carp will eat what is easiest to find and what they want to feed on. For me it's not about the flavour, it's about the vitamins and minerals that molasses contains. I also think liquid liver is a great liquid, but I don't want to guzzle it myself. Also if you want to make molasses spicy raid your store cupboard. Plenty of powders you could add, chilli, cumin, paprika, turmeric, fenugreek, garlic, Chinese 5 spice, Mollasses guzzling common ⬇️
  16. Good luck mate, enjoy your holiday.
  17. I like to add tinned milk in my flaked maize, I also add some mollasses to that too makes a nice coffee coloured thick cloud 😎
  18. It doesn't hurt adding mollasses to the aniseed version either btw, it's a good liquid to add as you can add it in abundance to anything I mainly only add it to particles though.it isn't expensive you can get 5l for about 10 quid, I'm not sure why more people don't use it really, bit of a no brainer to me.
  19. I add Mollasses to my particles because I get decent results from it. If it ain't broke and all that. Plus 5l of marmite would cost a hell of a lot more 😂 Also I don't use the aniseed mix, I don't think this one is either as its the same one I use.
  20. I like to leave some liquid in my particles, I find they keep better wet. I also tend to add molasses after cooking too. Then they start to ferment after a little while.
  21. That's the added goodness, will be fine.
  22. Time for a few more today good luck 👍
  23. @jh92cracking result, well done 👌👌👍 Beast of a common. 😎
  24. I've not really tried it yet with a fish so not sure but it would make a handy back up, I will give it a try alongside my camera, my kids took most of my recent ones on the phone as I forgot my camera last time.
  25. I got an app on my phone called selfer, and you can set it like an intervalometer, Thanks yonny looks great, will screenshot it so I can keep it and will get my camera out tonight and have a play.
