Yeah seems to be, they certainly love me, I can get bitten a lot in a session, I've usually been bitten before I've even got the rods out. First one is always the ankles.

I'm gonna try a lazy spod mix, I'm basically gonna use a bucket, some flaked maize, frozen sweetcorn, boilies, whole and chopped, pour over some hot water add some reaper nut mix liquid and some of my special garlic granules, sloppy, squishy and pre softened boilies, should make a nice cloud and be full of attraction, that's the plan anyway 😂

Wasn't it something to do with one of the guys from carpology? I tried to find the video but seems to have been taken down, I had looked because they did a conversion for my barrow and I thought it may be handy for when I get older. Well I've been busy buying stuff recently I now own 3 free spirit helicals,a new okuma 8k, a new atts bite alarm, 20kg of the usual innovate boilies reaper nut mix , match the hatch pop ups and wafters and some RNM 4 colour pastel pop ups, matching pellets, glug, 3 more esp mini butt grips (I now own all 3 sizes 😳) tubing, run rig bits, esp d rig kickers, 6 cans of go gas, korda kickers, oh and 20kg of flaked maize for a cunning plan 🌽 I have sold the xtractors, the crosscast rods and a rod bag, so you can't say I haven't tried to balance it out 😂

I went for a walk round the lakes today, it's full of weed, I think if I was to rake a swim everyone would fish it lol, so unless it benefits me I don't think i will 😂

Sometimes it's impossible to be discreet sadly, I always regret not having a wheelbarrow at the ready but it can make such a mess you can never really hide it until it dries out. Just have to hope the other anglers leave you to it.

I had to do some serious thinking and whilst I think the emblems look nicer, cooler and yes they are lighter and narrower, they just aren't as usable, the drag isn't good, the 8ks are smooth, the drag works brilliantly, they have better line lay and they've never let me down. I think I am also just so used to the weight that the emblems felt a little odd too. 😳 I would like to keep them but sadly I need to buy some new bits to make one decent set up

Jag alarm aligners seem to have worked, I now have 2 perfectly aligned alarms on my 3 rod buzzer bar, I didn't bother trying to align this one 😳

Having spend the weekend blanking I decided I quite like the emblems I like the clicky noise 😂 Although they aren't as good as the okuma 8k, I think I've decided the extractors are also a bit of a toy rod compared to a 12ft rod, I think I am going to sell all my rods and reels (apart from the 8k) buy another 8k and some 12ft 3.5lb tc free spirit helicals even upgrading my spod rod, they will probably work well enough as an all rounder, then stop dicking around and start a little baiting campaign around the lake in one or two quiet swims and start catching again. Simple stuff really 😂

I am the saint 😇 Still not decided what to do with it all at the moment I've got two pairs of rods and reels, I can get by mainly using the 9fters for most of my fishing but I'm not enjoying the emblems that much, the drag isn't the best and the line keeps getting caught under the spool, and finding one at a reasonable price isn't easy, was thinking I might sell the emblems buy another xtractor and get some smaller okumas, sell the other rods too and maybe just buy one more 8k and some distance rods for when I need some beef It's either that or just sell the lot and buy 3 decent rods and an 8k lol
