Already wear varifocals, but I still look over the top of them 😁 If it doesn't get any easier I will try one lol Most of the time it's fine when I use boom and krimps, but I wanted a solid bag rig, ended up using a coated braid and stripping half of it, not as supple but easier to tie.

Use some kind of magnifying glass to aid with tying rigs? I'm really struggling to see close up at the moment, uncoated braid was a nightmare when I tried a rig yesterday, in the coming years I think I will have to use wire and shark hooks to be able to tie them. I was told it was the bait boat of the rig tying world to use a magnifying glass and that it was cheating 😮😭😱

You can still get hydrotuff I don't think chuck Norris uses GT HD, but he does use use hydrotuff because it's the only line strong enough to pull doors off with his teeth.

that Elmo is always right 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I've not used it, it's meant to be good but I switched to 12lb Gt80+ which is 0.35mm line and essentially the same B/S as 15lb GT HD, it casts well, sinks well, highly abrasion resistant and low stretch which I believe is also GTHD main selling point.

Most Gardner line is decent tbh, My preference is for gt80+ although I do like hydrotuff also

Yeah it was Mike Wilson, I use a shortcut method where I just invite everything to the party and hope for the best,it always starts with rudd going nuts if you are lucky the pike don't turn up and gradually the rest start taking over and muscle in, but maybe next year a longer strategy will get the job done next year. I also like using maize because it's cheap and effective -

I'm not saying he didn't say it elsewhere but he did say it in the PVA underwater video, I added that to the carp film library last night 😂 There are now lots of great you tube vids to look at 👍 -
