  1. Just emailed him again, I just looked and have his number so if I don't get a reply I will give him a call over the weekend
  2. Performance is the slightly bigger one, works a treat tbh
  3. Try taking the spool off and any washers etc and put them back together again sometbing may have got dislodged might be something simple hopefully.
  4. No matter what I use they seem to get me. I did use jungle formula this weekend but they still savaged my legs, tried the Avon before and that didn't seem to work that well for me either, but I know it does for lots of people. I went shopping for a new paddling pool this afternoon and ended up in go outdoors, bought a fox exocet marker float kit, I decided I needed a marker float again for baiting up with the boat as it will be easier and quicker to chuck it out to my spots raise it and have a visual marker to aim at.
  5. Yeah Earith, I don't mind the Rudd being about I just don't want to catch them lol,I think the baiting pyramid works quite well there, I use a 13mm pop up mainly and don't catch many but I guess if I use a spinner it resets that's my main concern is that is wasnt fishing probably all night. Where a spinner would've been. Quite happy with my spinner set up presently though. Just not a bag rig as its too clunky.
  6. Yeah it's been too hot for dogs mine has been getting walked early or late or in the woods where its cooler, funnily enough the other swim I fancied was cool and had a breeze. I'm now realising the full extent of the Mozzie damage I need a tcp bath or something 😂, need a new Mozzie culling device I think.
  7. I've decided to try some different line this year, KATRAN wild carp camo has just been ordered in 20.5lb I've been looking at low stretch lines for a bit and when I read 10-12% stretch I was interested,I would use braid but it's banned 😢 this sounds pretty decent and looks good, i have a spool of gt80+ if it sucks but it ticks all the boxes in theory. They do some other pretty out there lines too thag glow up and stuff. https://katran.eu/wild_carp_camo
  8. I went off multi rigs again last night BTW. I reeled in one of my rods and it had been sprung (only rod it was on btw) I even used a hook bead stop thing to prevent it happening. Probably those darned rudd or something but if your rig doesn't reset you aren't likely to catch.I may as well have put out a solid bag with no hook. To be fair though I am starting to think solid bags aren't the one when there is gazillions of rudd,🤔
  9. Nice and simple kept moving it about to find the most shade as it was hot in this swim Just about to test my new Gardner G force stove on my new bivvy table
  10. I will save you some 😂
  11. Still a little untidy, but the rods are out, and there was quite a few carp round here today mooching about, I am hopeful they will get there heads down and have a munch tonight, time for a cuppa now.
  12. Mine is all in the car, booked a sneaky half day, finish at 2 then straight there via the coop, have a good look about bucket ready to drop into a likely looking swim. Can't wait even though its stupid warm already, does mean I should be able to find them though. Testing out the axs shelter tonight.
  13. If this was a 1970s pop band it would be munga jerry 😂
  14. I will drop him an email as he hasn't sent me anything yet will let you know once I hear anything.
  15. Molasses works well, and it's dirt cheap. But spod syrups oils anything won't hurt tbh. I've just added a very healthy glug of Molasses to the mix of maize and seeds I prepped for tomorrow, pretty happy with my new mix tbh mainly maize but has some wheat, maples and other smaller bits but it's more decent sized particles rather than small seeds should interest the Rudd but slow them down enough. Jist needs some tigers but I haven't got any at the minute. God these bad boys for cooking with the other day 17ltr and 20ltr so I can prep enough at a time smaller one is good for a bucket full, bigger one for when i need a lot of bait 😂
  16. And that is it fitting snuggly into one half of the main compartment of the rucksack. I'm happy with it anyway 😂
  17. One side for the hooklinks and leaders that don't fit into the tackle box, And the other side currently has, files and crimper and other handy tools in.
  18. Mini comforter Packsmart added, and yes that is my sock TBC...
  19. Yes it has straps and belt bit and is just like a rucksack only more organised, the one I have is the comforter Packsmart
  20. Bottom half I keep my lead pouch, Pva bag kit, and wolf x spod I think it's a great bag as I know where everything is, it's functional goes under the bed and is comfortable to wear even loaded like that. The main section can also be made into 1 bigger compartment, but it works for me like this Bon appetit
  21. Top half of the main bag korda tackle box fits perfectly, I have an NGT case thing but the zip has just gone but does the job for the time being. Top tip Gardner xl baiting needle best in the world bar none.
  22. Smaller top pocket Pva tube, markers, lights and usually a powerbank and other toot
  23. One side I have my alarms and buzz bars and banksticks etc
