I got checked for the first time ever last year, it has got expensive, but it's still only 5ltrs of olive oil, half a tank of diesel, probably 7 or 8 pints of beer at a pub, and over 4 x national minimum wage and about the price of cooking a roast on a Sunday with the heating on low. The only thing we need now are wages, pensions and benefits to catch up and we will all live happily ever after.

I've got some of that still, it does make a good boom tbh, I think I bought a weird colour though it's almost the same as a pair of farah action slacks. Also don't buy the extreme that is impossible to use.

Still love them, they have been perfect, they did get a bit dirty after that rain, must give them a clean.

I mainly use 15lb korda boom, I have used Gardner stiff link before in 25lb but I find they can be too thick and wirey in 25lb, I like the korda one because you can now get XS crimps which match the 15lb nicely. The 15lb boom is a little more supple and yet stiff enough to always reset.

Cyprinus, bivvy prices have gone through the roof since they went belly up π -
Thanks I did change the settings on my camera like you suggested, I think it turned out pretty well, certainly a lot nicer than some of my prior efforts thanks for the guidance,

Not sure if I used @yonnyphoto class to its max, but it was piddling down, I had the camera in the bivvy and just went for it. Turned out pretty well I think, Thanks to @Higham1987for the night spodding advice. I redid the rods this morning with a fresh pop up on a classic Elmo spinner rig, fired about 20 more baits with a pult and 10 minutes later this was the result. Naturally I used mollasses in the spod mix and this 29lb 8oz common was the result I had worked so hard for. Confidence is king.

Not a kitkat chunky either. I fell into a burning ring of fire,i went down, down, down as the flames they went higher.

I think it is more not the time to experiment, that could have been the biggun, or the linear I really want to catch, now my owny concern is whether I put enough bait out earlier, I can hear a fairly decent acoustic band tonight, quite country they played the gambler and they have a girl singer who sounds really good. Would prefer to hear my bite alarm screaming though

Phwoooar that's a ripper. Well done that man.

I've quit on slip D rigsπ 1 bite, one loss, my rods now all have classic spinners on again. π You can't shortcut rig confidence. I've moved and I'm in the right zone, come on the chunky ones.
-
Let's see if the baiting has paid off, considering I am a bit poorly it went pretty well 2 rods together on a spot with 200 baits around them and a 3rd off to my left on a cheeky lil spot I've been cultivating with a carp grenade and a few loose fed boilies, come on the carps. Carp grenade incoming.

Not a family name I could support would rather they were called granny freezer baits or something.

Jrc cocoon bedchair must be early 2000s it's a bit battered, been moused, replaced the cord for zip ties, but it still gets used by my daughter and it's not a bad back up bedchair. I sometimes use it if I want to travel light because it weighs nearly nothing. Still got the cyprinus bunker that comes out for winter when I want a wrap or bivvy with a front. That's done me well. (I have just thought I might need to fix it though either that or I may have already bodged it, can't remember nowπ³) I'm on my 2nd ngt coolbag after the first one got moused but they seem to last quite well. Great value for money. Everything else seems to break,or I get bored and swap it for shiny new stuff.
