  1. where abouts in the country are you, that will help to suggest a decent venue
  2. on brasenose the fish patrol in fair size shoals, get some particles in to hold them and you should get on them! like on any water they might be out to the middle or close in, you will need to watch for them, fish location
  3. hi kev, linear is a well run fishery, a lot of folk try for st johns due to the larger fish but it tends to be very busy, lots of angling pressure. i will be fishing on brasenose 1 over the easter weekend, which lake are you thinking of

  11. Im of to B1 at easter for a well earned chill out, just had a look at it on google sat, looks real good, i fished st johns a few years back and vowed i would never go back to linear, not due to the way its run, i must add! do particles like maize work well on B!
  12. If a rat with weils disease piddled into a lake, it would still be safe to boil and drink the water...........a rolling boil renders all water safe.....keenook you would not last long in the wilds in a survival situation! any way this is going of topic
  13. You dont get weils disease from boiled water rats carry it in their urine
  14. well i drink the lake water down at nene valley but i boil it first and soak a tea bag in it just to be sure

  22. Me i dont live nearby, thats the problem why i did not fish it last year, i had membership but ended up at willow pool instead in nene valley after that huge common its about a hundred mile trip for me
