  7. Im of to B1 at easter for a well earned chill out, just had a look at it on google sat, looks real good, i fished st johns a few years back and vowed i would never go back to linear, not due to the way its run, i must add! do particles like maize work well on B!
  8. If a rat with weils disease piddled into a lake, it would still be safe to boil and drink the water...........a rolling boil renders all water safe.....keenook you would not last long in the wilds in a survival situation! any way this is going of topic

  10. well i drink the lake water down at nene valley but i boil it first and soak a tea bag in it just to be sure

  18. Me i dont live nearby, thats the problem why i did not fish it last year, i had membership but ended up at willow pool instead in nene valley after that huge common its about a hundred mile trip for me
  19. Hi tinca and welcome to carp.com most anglers tend to use fairly standard no knot rigs for river carp, same as for lakes, think the key to river carp is prebaiting, getting them used to feeding in one area, i plan to have a go at the river nene this new year, hope to get a couple out!
