  7. does any one know of a lake in the north of england where i might find proper wild carp, my first ever carp was a little wild carp, and it would be nice to have a go at catching one this year
  8. welcome long time reader first time poster i would not recommend blue bell as like you say it can be a right hard water im sure some one will suggest a decent runs water, a place thats rammed with carp good luck

    like the man said, it can possibly cause damage to smaller fish if in doubt leave it out where fish welfare is concerned
  10. yep, a very good method, that i use with great results! free lined bread is still a top bait that a lot of anglers over look

  23. whats the situation with pods/sticks, i usually fish on bank sticks, so dont really want to set up a pod for one rod, though did say to mate we could share a pod, could be a laugh doing that
  24. cheers leggs, i just fancy a day on drayton catching loads, i had figured sweetcorn would be the one to use, pop up fake corn and spod corn over the top, keep them feeding
  25. Hi all, has any one got up to date info on drayton, their website seems out of date just price`s and stuff? me and a mate are going in a few months for a bit of "baggin up"
