thehaganizer Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 None most of the time now.. But depends, cos I do like the leaders and leadcore.. but never use tubing as it always seems such a pain haha Robo no swearing, even with asterix's Quote
stoogi Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Mostly Safety rigs, with leadcore. Isn't that an oxymoron? Quote
azz1210 Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 i have clicked rig tubing but this is a lie as i actually use tungstan tubing, the same thing in some peoples eyes Quote
sgart Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Mostly Safety rigs, with leadcore. Isn't that an oxymoron? I got your point but at least they wont swim around with a lead attached. I personally dont use more than 50-70cm of LC. The breaking strain of my leaders are lower than my mainline. Of course the mainline could still break before leader anyway. I use loop connection from LC to mainline so if the lead for some reason wouldnt drop the whole safety rig could also snap loose from the swivel and over the LC. Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 If it is safe enough then I won't use anything, mainline straight through to the running lead and end tackle. However, most of the time I seem to end up fishing near snags, and have confidence in a length of tubing. Quote
