One of the spokes has ripped away from the fabric, might seal it up and sale it as spares/repairs. I'm no good at stitching things up π

Just looking at some options, can get a trakker tempest dpm4 with a skullcap, like new condition for 230 (no groundsheet tho) the Camo colour looks pretty cool lol Theres also a cyprinus typhoon m4 for 200. Comes with a zip in groundsheet. Also like new condition. Thoughts?

One of my lakes is a 8pm to 8pm and 8am to 8am, nothing worse than getting there for 8 and trying to get everything set up and rods out etc before dark π I'm glad I went today but realised I need to seal my Brolly, water has been [censored]ing in. Bedchair wet, everything is wet ππ

Yes mate I've just got up into Somerset this morning, looking at the forecast the weather is gonna be stormy this evening and again tomorrow then overcast with a few showers for the days aftwr, low pressure with southerly winds at about 10 - 15mph. Hopefully it gets them down on the deck π I plan on staying right through to Saturday and pack up when it's dry. Can't be packing up when it's wet is my excuse π
-
The weather is looking good for a bite I reckon. Southerly winds and wind gusts up to 35mph. Some thunder and a lot of rain.. My mate bailed out but I will still be going π
-
My JRC stainless steel bank sticks are still going strong after 15 years of abuse ππ
-
I will probs give the layers mash a miss then, better find someone with some chickens π Can't beat some vitalin, I will give them a go, thanks π
-
Anyone tried it as part of a groundbait mix? I couldn't get any vitalin but seen this stuff so picked it up to try tomorrow.. Any thoughts on it?

I use a brolly all year round, in the colder months I will some times use the front and a groundsheet π On the reservoir I was fishing last night some guy had what I believe was two trakker tempest bivvies with a middle skin so it made one massive bivvy. Next to it he had a green toilet tent set up... 200 yards down the bank you have multiple toilets, showers etc π€·ββοΈπ

Sensor in brown for me as well, been using it for over 15 years now, can't fault it so haven't found the need to use something different lol -
Yeah a lot of waters down here have started spawning and are now shut for a couple weeks π΄π
-
Which company would you use for a service? Looking at the reels, the bail arms aren't damaged as such, but they have dropped down, I think it might be the springs need replacing? They do hold a lot of memories lol. Can you recommend a place to get them serviced?
-
The carp have just started spawning at my local pond. Isn't it a bit early?? π€ Now I'm 50/50 whether I should make the 100 mile round trip to the reservoir next weekend incase they are spawning as well π€·ββοΈ

The reels are 743g and the biomasters are 720g so not much difference π
-
I'm sold lol, can't fault the price. The only thing I was a little bit unsure about was the weight but the biomasters weigh a tonne anyway so shouldn't make a difference π Okuma didn't even come to mind when I was looking for reels even though we used to use them as kids, would pick a bait runner up for Β£30 lol. Thanks for the link, awesome deal π
-
I'm after a set of big pit reels, can anyone recommend some to look at? I've currently got shimano biomaster 8000 xta reels, but after 15 years they've got a bit battered, bail arms and springs need sorting so it's time to retire them lol. I'll mainly be fishing around 80 - 100 yard Mark π

I ended up getting the wychwood tactical x high chair, really happy it. It is a bit on the heavy side but not really an issue when using the barrow π
-
I've been looking at the wychwood tactical x high chair, it's a bit of a monster, weighs in at 7.5kg, recliner with arms etc. But it looks high off the ground. Has anyone used or seen one in person? I'm after something high off the deck. I've got a low chair at the moment and it's getting uncomfortable on the knees ππ

Nicely done mate π do you use trebles or single hooks? I'm thinking about trying circle hooks on my next session? -
How did you get on kev? I'm out tomorrow morning with some rag worm, plan to fish them drop shot style off a deep rock mark π
-
What do you class as a short session if Iβm doing a day trip I will just buy a meal deal from a shop π maybe a flask of tea or coffee too. Are you putting your bread in a cool bag with ice blocks or something? I usually put half a loaf for bacon sandwiches in my fishing rucksack and never had any problems, will keep for a good 48 hours ππ Easy foods for me are pot noodles, super noodle now do pot noodles you just add water lol. Tea and biscuits, big soup, all day breakfast in a tin, it tastes rubbish but it will do for fishing π I canβt be bothered with the cleaning up anymore so just try to cook everything with a kettle or the 1 saucepan or frying pan ππ

Iβll be wearing the spf 50 today π was driving yesterday and burnt my arm from just having it on the edge of the window. Now have to go into work with a white arm and a red arm πππ

I get what you are saying mate I donβt fish snags anyway, a lot of the waters I fish you ainβt allowed to use them, I guess like you say people using them to put baits where they shouldnβt be. I want one for a little pond I fish, the island has overgrown and you canβt get a lead to it without hitting the trees that are over hanging (not into the water) and if you start doing several casts to get it right you will spook the fish out of the swim and they wonβt return for ages lol. a 11m baiting pole might do it from a couple swims but might as well spend the extra and get a boat, I think I will enjoy using it too π but yeah itβs not for all my fishing, just for the tricky pond I sometimes fish π
-
Whatever floats your boat mate. I wonβt lose any sleep over using one or the merit of capture. I enjoy catching carp and will use anything I can to help me catch more π

Been doing 12 hour shifts from 4.30am each day this week, feeling it pretty bad since Iβve been out of work since January ππ will have enough wedge to buy a nice bait boat and some bait when I get paid π π
