  1. Sounds like a winner to me, only thing that puts me off I can never be bothered to mess about making groundbait balls 😂
  2. I've thought about the dog throwing stick before, I feel like they would need to be perfect size and it would probably damage the balls as you swung it. Have you tried the groundbait launchers you can attach to your rod? I bought one for a couple of quid but haven't got round to using it yet.
  3. I've never used a straight one. I've got a ridgemonkey one now, much prefer the carbon ones to the plastic tubes.
  4. Accuracy is overrated 😉🤣
  5. I've used one for heavy baiting an area about 6 wraps, with pigeon conditioner it kind of went all around the zone but that was alright for thinning the weed. I'm OK with a throwing stick but you need to get into a rhythm, I found using a korda bum bag helped because it saves you having to stop to pick up more bait.
  6. I've heard of him, he was a bit before my time lol, Doesn't look a bad shout tbh, I used to play for the school 30+ years ago, must still have the skills in the locker 😂
  7. The pop up one isn't too bad size wise tbh, it comes in a nice little bag and hardly takes up any room.
  8. I did try to warn you. The pop up one would have been fine for you.
  9. Bought the 8ft fox baiting pole and also some fox spomb shock leader for my spod rod.
  10. I bought one, I went for the 8ft fox one it's 2 piece and longer which means it should give me a little more distance by being the most flexible and be easier to transport.
  11. Not too far, but far enough lol it's probably only good for up to 40 yards or so I should think with bigger sized particles, maybe more with boilies but I'm hoping to keep it fairly close for ease tbh.
  12. I just think they will give you an extra few yds with that bit of bounce.
  13. I didn't realise B B stood for Bjorn Borg, I knew you liked to make a racket, but now you've got his jacket 😂
  14. I have used one before, just one with a different net handle, was accurate to a point but then, who wants to be accurate right? Was just wondering if the fox ones would be able to get much further with the added flexability. I will see if this one does the job before rushing out to buy one though. My garden isn't that big and I might take out some dog walkers behind lol, a couple of buckets will be enough to get my eye in 😱
  15. I guess they must be an edge if no one has used one before. 😂
  16. I've got an old spoon and landing net handle to try first, I wonder if the lack of flex will stop me getting as far though.
  17. I've found the Nash, Gardner and fox ones 6ft and 8ft , which is a good one for mass baiting with particles that allow you to fire out a load of particles in a matter of minutes at a reasonable range?
  18. Break easily though, make sure you get insurance if you buy a Google phone, I dropped mine once quite softly and it was a write off.
  19. No sadly not, just looking back to better times 😏
  20. If one catches we all catch tbh. It's not going to be easy, but we're having a good go and there is a 60lb + common out there somewhere. We've just got to get it to slip up.
  21. Today is the day, buzzing like an old fridge full of bait.
  22. I didn't notice til afterwards this is a battery one mine is rechargeable. I just use it on top of my camera without a flash seems to work OK but I don't catch that many 😂
