  1. I watched this a while ago it is quite interesting isn't it?
  2. Nicked off a kids bike outside the sweet shop 😎
  3. I found that braid a bit rubbish tbh seemed to snap way too easily. I also tried thicker braid and it destroyed the sonik spod reel, it couldn't handle reeling it back in
  4. I'm a bit obsessive too, I haven't posted my latest set up yet 😳any excuse lol Matrix hockey sticks, MCF bike chains and my beloved Defiant MPS heads Probably not the most functional set I've had but they meet my own vein bobbin fetish requirements at the moment.
  5. Excellent write up, I almost felt Iike I was there πŸ˜‚ Will definately go next time sounds fun.
  6. My little contribution to the weekends captures along with a tench. Sadly I blanked last night, no wonder the pub chucked at a showing fish mesh bag didn't produce the goods came in looking like that, Cracking weekend though, lovely lake, good to share it with some of you guys, hopefully will get to have a return match sometime. Good luck tonight guys, hope you catch a few more belters. πŸ‘πŸ€žπŸ€ž
  7. Caught it from right under that tree with the boat, bosh
  8. I've just arrived home, I managed 1 carp of 13lb and a tench, been a great weekend and great to meet some of you guys IRL. Can't wait for the next one.
  9. Yes mate best thing about it, you don't lose anything you put on the floor because it stands out 😎
  10. It was too dark by the time I got my rods out, to be fair my new groundsheet is vastly superior anyway πŸ˜€
  11. The only times my Alarms go off is while I am setting the bobbin, got to get some value out of them πŸ˜‚
  12. Carp chronicles can be brilliant or headbanging I find. I listened to some of the great debait last night, fried my brain right up and was way too deep for me. I like the baitworks one and the korda one depending who's on it, Nash same it always depends on the guests I think.
  13. Apparently not as much as i should have πŸ˜‚ my plan to go tonight quickly fell by the wayside as I still ached significantly today.
  14. I don't think the swims will be that small tbh, the pictures I've seen look pretty spacious, I wouldn't worry too much, My only concern is if I need a front or not, I'm thinking axs shelter at the moment, with new hilux groundsheet 😎
  15. $Gym was pretty busy for 10 30pm, went in and did my thing though, going to ache like hell tomorrow, Did some iron pumping and stuff #gainzbros
  16. I finish work at 10pm then I am making my gym debut 😳 I've even googled a plan so I know what I'm gonna do when I get there πŸ˜€πŸ˜²πŸ’ͺ
  17. I don't think the swims are that small there are certainly some a 2 man would be OK. I'm not sure which one to bring either though 😳 I'm waiting to see what the weather holds in store for us, feels a little autumnal tonight which is nice, I'm feeling giving them some bait at the moment πŸ˜€
  18. I think I got mine from rig locker too
  19. Either will probably be fine then I should think mate, just go with what you think.
  20. I am used to a 0.40mm line so it seems quite thin to me πŸ˜€ I've cast 20 odd wraps with it and it seems OK, if you need distance get the thinner one if not go with the thicker one.
  21. I use the 20lb one, looks nice went on well
  22. If you are fishing snags and stuff I would consider the 20lb one, If you look at the diameter it is probably more like a 14lb line or something it's quite thin, it is also quite low stretch so I have found it does break a little easier even at 20lb,
  23. I'm using the wild carp camo line at the moment it's been alright so far only used it twice though so not a long term review,
