I keep wanting an actor at the minute 😳 I think it would be useful for stealthy and quick prebaiting at night, Whack a marker out, 1.5kg per trip few trips out and hardly any disturbance and a Big bed of bait for the carps to find and hopefully no one seeing me do it 😬

One thing I found helped my back is using a chair that can sit on your bed, I used to get quite a bad back ache sitting on a bedchair, I have a trakker levelite transformer chair which can sit on the floor and also on a bed, might be quite low still on the floor but it's OK for me at the moment, and it is good on a bed, but it Definately helps and supports my back, Not sure it's the same but people swear by heavy weighted blankets or duvets for polymyalgia, I saw it yesterday, and thought that might have been good for my dad, 😢 but if it helps worth sharing 👍 I always think a power barrow might be a good investment for the future, and if a bait boat gets you fishing again it isn't cheating, I kind of want one for stealthy night time prebaiting lol, I keep seeing too many benefits for one (I haven't yet though ) 😂

Well that can only be a good thing, and makes sense, so for that reason they are probably well worth it over the premium select ones, I used the coppens carp pellets last year and they seemed to work OK, 9%oil 32%protien I think carp can get hooked on them if you feed them enough,I noticed by the time I was on my second bag in the autumn they seemed quite keen on them last year 👍 I think it's good to stay amateur in these things, bait seems quite a rabbit hole you can fall down 🐰🐰👍

The premium select ones they do have also have 15% oil but only 34% protien, I've read a few times that anything over 33% protien is a waste as the carp can't utilise it all and it just gets crapped out , do you think there is a benefit to giving them more protien still like these ones with a higher protien value ? I don't know the answer my guess if it helps keep them coming back it's worth it😂 but if not and it's all about the oil then you may as well use the premium select, and save a few quid???? 😳

Take it as a sign and start baiting it 👍 We have a duck eating catfish in my lake, someone in the syndicate watched one getting killed by one, i thought it must've been an otter or something, but he was adamant it was a cat as he said the fight lasted ages and he saw it rolling

I've used the black magic ones before to add to my Pva bag mix , they seemed pretty good, not seen those particular ones before they seem a new addition, look pretty good though high in protien and oil might be worth a punt, I have bought a few bits from BAF and they always seem good quality

If you want a line that doesn't break try 15lb hydrotuff 👍I've had it stuck up trees, deep into pads when I've forgotten to clip up, and I've always got the rig back 😂 Closest thing to elmo proof I've found 😳

I would just use a bait screw, makes life so much simpler 👍

You could get a remote from amazon for not a lot, some people use them in there hand whilst holding fish, I tried using one but found it a bit tricky ended up with an intervalometer, I know that doesn't help but I did think, if you put it in your sock under your big toe you would be able to press it OK, worth a try maybe?before selling the camera,

That's the 3 rigs I use mate top one is a stiff rig, the middle is my Pva bag rig nice and simple, and the bottom one is a multi rig I use for pop ups, All pretty simple once you get the hang of it 👍 Have a look at Julian Cundiffs angling group on fb there is loads of good advice on there 👍

I would start off with Pva bags tbh mate, they will help you catch more fish, nice and simple Shopping list PVA bag stems Braided hooklink PVA bags not too big PVA tape to tie the bags with 2mm pellets and a hookbait 1) tie a fairly big loop in your mainline (figure of 8 is what I use) big enough to fit your bag through, 2) simple hair rig knot less knot about 4-5 inches with a wafter or smallish hookbait, I tie another figure of 8 loop knot on the lead end 3) I then feed the loop end of the rig through the swivel on the bag stem,add an online lead to the stem also, and put the hook end through the loop so it is locked on the swivel, you could tie it to the swivel if you preferred 4) make the bag starting by putting the hook and bait in, keeping the lead out, add some pellet bit more rig bit more pellet till its about 1/2 full add the lead bit more pellet leaving the top of the bag stem above the top of the bag make it abut 3/4 full with pellet twist it so it's tight tie it up then pack it down, there are loads of Pva bag vids around to show you this Then push the loop on your mainline through the top of the bag stem until the bag will go through the loop them drop it through the loop and it should be ready to cast out, I think Pva bags will catch you more fish as a beginner mate, they are more forgiving if you don't cast it perfectly, and they really do work, simple but effective A couple of videos to get you started 👍

Carl and Alex reservoir diaries may help, There is some useful stuff to be learned from quite a lot of videos korda masterclass and underwater series, Rob Hughes does some good informative vids, just type it into YouTube and get watching as much as you can mate, of course none of this is as useful as practice,practice, practice but it will give you a good start

All good advice thanks, I am now sugar free in tea and coffee, been a week, I've actually gone down to a couple of cups a day rather than about 10+ which also seems to help,feel slightly less anxious and do seem to be sleeping OK so far,

It would be a nice time to have some luxury items to sell, if you don't need em anymore wouldn't be a bad time to sell, I did sell quite a few bits for the father In law last year, £275 for a youngs purist 2 centrepin reel,(was nice I wanted it really) a pair or of 2 rod vintage solar buzz bars got nearly 50 quid, madness, I will see how the bonus situation goes this month and see what else I can sell,😂 I really miss overtime now, the good old days where I could do a Sunday or 2 for the extra bits I need, like fishing reels and so on 😂

I do still have to save a bit tbh, but will consider it thanks that seems a decent price , I sort of gave up looking at 2nd hand diawa reels because they always seemed the same price as nearly new 😳

You can get quite a bit in a bag, they are well worth the effort, I keep vowing to start using them again this year, they did work well when I did use them I just got lazy 😂 I've found they are best within an hour or two though, so you need to keep rechecking them, that is why I got lazy, gets quite boring making bags up all the time, 😳
