  1. That sort of shift change should be illegal, I have to do 2-10pm monday to Thursday then 10-6pm just the 4 hours earlier really throws me out of whack, perhaps I should be going for day naps, might be a good idea 💡
  2. If it isn't going to be used that often, this might not be too bad for you, you could make an offer and probably get it quite cheap, I haven't got one of these myself though but I have a cyprinus bunker and it's been great so far, https://www.cyprinus.co.uk/collections/tactical-mongoose-bivvy/products/cyprinus-mongoose-tactical-2-man-bivvy-overwrap-bundle
  3. I slightly hate myself for taking a chair + bed on an overnighter, but I can't sit on a bed as it does my back in, but I would probably really dislike myself for taking a bed on a day session 😁
  4. These are pretty much my rigs this year top to bottom Bottom bait /wafter stiff rig Gardner 25lb trick link,i might get some 15lb too 😁 PVA bag rig (smaller krank type hook this year) Bank tackle braid but might get some Gardner braid, I like Gardner stuff at present Pop up multi rig, with whatever coated braid I choose first lol either bank tackle, jelly wire, or ESP tungsten all seem to work fine 😂 Nice and simple stuff 👌
  5. I guess it depends on the rig you are using them for, I like the stiff rigger hooks for my stiff rigs, these will be similar but maybe with a better point, so a worthwhile investigation to me(or an excuse just to buy some more hooks😂) 🤔 Also I actually like a twister type hook(not chod) for my multi rigs too I like the squareness and the angle I get with shrink tube lol I suppose if we all used the same thing tackle companies wouldn't last long 😂
  6. There is a small barb if you look closely at them 👍
  7. You ain't catching these days if it isn't complicated 🤔
  8. Just seen an advert on Instagram for the new ESP chod hammers, I will be interested in those I think, they would work nicely on my stiff bottom rig 🤔 They have a nice point like the trig hammer
  9. That's it, now I just need to remember how to get there its been so long 😂😢
  10. Cheers guys I doubt I will use it anyway tbh unless I get really hard up for ideas, I don't want to get into faffing with bait and rigs this year 😂 I AM keeping it simple 🤕
  11. Only a swivel and the spring of the chod monofilament, in theory the swivel should still turn but I did wonder if it could end up not hooking correctly
  12. Have a look at my post below in this section where do you start with Goo, that may help you a bit, I haven't used any of my hookbaits yet but they smell good 😂 It is Pva friendly and can be used with mesh , I've just been soaking a few tubs of hookbaits so far though, I will dribble some on mesh though
  13. This is Julian cundiffs latest version of the multi rig, like you say it isn't so reusable, but it's also been my go to pop up rig for a good few months now, been more than happy with its performance so far tbh, you can even attach a small mesh bag if you want, I haven't used it for anything other than a pop up though 👍 This is going to be my bottom bait rig this year I think, personally I think the hookbait acts better and turns the hook faster on this set up (this is only my opinion though, still unproven)😁
  14. I just googled slip d rig and found loads of different ones which one in particular are you trying? Also are they just like a multi rig?
  15. I think I've sussed it 😁 https://photos.app.goo.gl/N6tUL8YV7Bw7nAzc9
  16. So the long d version did you still use a swivel or bait screw? I guess the idea is the bait blows down to the swivel so it can't be used to loosen the hook? Good idea, 👍 The thinking behind mine is it just keeps springing back into the mouth like it's on a spring 😂 I wanted to add a video but I need to change the file type or something 😒
  17. That's not a bad shout, I have tried a bit with zigs but never confidently, I was going to use them a bit more this winter but that hasn't materialised so far, Chods I have also tried a bit I can see me using those more often I think, I should have more last year tbh, but didn't quite see how useful they can be, This is my so solid chod rig 😁 it's basically like a normal chod but with a massive D that you use to hold the bait on with, basically the bait won't blowback like any other rig and in theory will be super tough to eject? I would be interested to hear thoughts on it BTW my thoughts on it are that it could be revolutionary or completely terrible 😁
  18. I'm pretty much the same I made a really zany version of a chod rig last year, in my head it's probably, really, really, difficult to eject, but I've never had the balls to try it 😂
  19. I decided to take your advice and leave the pole, 12kg of Retrobaits Shropshire Gold ordered (already got some and don't want to overload the freezer) along with a kilo of matching stick mix some liquid and some of these wafters couldn't resist they look smart 😍 I will be ready once we get the green light 😂
  20. Well worth putting your name down for good luck
  21. Ha I am also quite clumsy, I think you may be right, Maybe more bait would be a better call 😂
