  1. The smellier the better I always say 😂 I would be all over a liver goo
  2. My best ever winner was 66/1 £5ew in its first ever race over jumps, I had a hunch this horse was going to smash them, it was called tontos spirit it lead all the way and romped home, that horse was so good to me over a couple of years it won me quite a bit of money, Definately my favourite wasn't ever going to win the national but it loved a mucky Sedgefield 😂 That came after a day out at huntingdon with the wife and between we left £200 richer happy days
  3. Has that one go assholfatida in then 😁I did wonder why its 2 quid more than the others
  4. I might goo up some of the devil's dung ones that will be like the gift that keeps giving 😁
  5. That isn't strictly true, I got my sky bet account closed for being too successful 🤔 Over the course of 1 year I was up about a grand so they stopped me using that account, not massive money but they didn't like it that I had beat them, that Is how they beat the successful gamblers, don't get me wrong I'm not saying I was a successful gambler, it really isn't a get rich quick scheme, but I had learnt when I had an advantage, bookies paid for family holidays and some nice little treats, I never lost what I couldn't afford but having a family meant something had to give, I was betting sloppy and making mistakes, so I stopped because it was too much working, betting and having a family, I basically never switched off it was like having 2 full time jobs and I hadn't earnt enough/wasn't disciplined enough to go full time 😳
  6. If i catch one like that I'll be happy 👍 Thanks for the input, I'm kind of relying on the old school anglers on the lake to think the same about goo tbh, that it is a load of rubbish then hopefully it's an edge for me, it's got to be worth a go anyway, I want the hookbait to be the feature in my swim so they can't resist it, 😂 I had a chat with Kevin from PJPU the other day apparently the korda boys think his pop ups are the only ones that can handle a proper gooing and still stay up 😁
  7. It's not that I'm not confident In my bait I do know it works well, I could quite happily carry on doing what I am doing but I think i might be able to do better concentrating more on making the hookbait stand out more 🤔 I don't get time for long sessions so if it helps get quicker action with less down time waiting for bites then hopefully that equates to more fish on the bank, I had a pretty good year last year, this year I want to do better, I can always switch back if it isn't working 😂
  8. If I leave nothing else in carp fishing consider bailicks my legacy 😁
  9. I mean horlicks with the baileys trust me its a future classic Infact it's the bailicks 😂
  10. Right not purchasing any more for the time being got one for each rod now 😁 Pineapple supreme Pink almond supreme White wonder Berry supreme That lot will give me a hobby for a while 😁
  11. I think I might not just match them up so much i will on a few as I have some pineapple already but I have quite a few other pop ups that won't probably get used otherwise, so I may as well have a mess about with it and try some things out and see what happens just treat some pop ups as goo carriers 😂
  12. I haven't used the same hookbait as my freebies for ages tbh I've gone for a pineapple supreme so far have loads I could try with that, might just get a pink one too, or wonder Berry can't decide as there is too much choice 🤔
  13. It's just for hookbaits I want to use goo, I want the hookbait to be irresistible and stand out more, I've got my freebies how I want them tbh I usually wash them out with evap milk and liver and a few other goodies too 🥛
  14. Nice one thanks, I suppose it defeats the object if its washed out and doesn't stand out,
  15. I fancy having a play with Goo as I've got tonnes of hookbaits in various colours, shapes and sizes, which could be enhanced with some goo, but there is so much choice it fries my brain? I think I might get 2 or 3 to have a play with anyone got any recommendations or combos? I would like to be able to make Washed out pink baits if that helps and mainly for soaking over weeks rather than minutes When you use them does it totally overpower the original bait flavour until it washed out or can you make bad choices with them if they don't match or enhance the original flavours?
  16. If you want to play them smarter avoid the bigger prizes, tbh though they are gambling and addictive and you will find the odds are terrible usually, they won't lose out when running them, work out the cost of the item and then the ticket cost and how many tickets to sell out usually they make twice as much as the item, and you can bet they are buying at trade, If you want to win more then work out the max entries / tickets allowed then x100 or % if using a calc As a suggestion we will say 100 entries and 6 per person that gives you a 6% chance of winning that raffle if you buy 6 and a 94% of not winning that raffle 🤔 the odds are heavily stacked on you not winning If you are going to use one though use one that is legit, and has a gambling licence as they won't get shut down, Pm me if you need any more advice on this but be careful it is gambling and quite addictive 😳 If I don't win another 20kg of CC Moore live system this time I'm stopping 😁
  17. https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15901791/ngt-88-x-55-x-21cm-carp-cradle-15901791/ I have the NGT pop up cradle which has lasted well, this one isnt a bad price I don't think and should last a while, and will more importantly should keep the fish safer than a flat mat
  18. That would be fine mate and a decent price I have a sonik s1 net and it's great for the money
  19. I could probably get away with St Ives being local 😭 probably only 4 - 5 miles, I just haven't got a ticket 😂
  20. My garage is a mess too, I keep putting it off 😁 I'm borderline about whether I'm too far or not 6 miles from my local but I'm not too fussed at present, trying to minimise the risk of Covid tbh even though my work colleagues don't seem to share my ideals 😢, now I'm back to work I feel bad having to leave my misses to do all the home schooling so it wouldn't seem right for me to just [censored] off fishing 🙄 I can wait til it warms up a bit then hopefully a heavy spring baiting campaign might be on the cards and I can get this 30lber target done 😁
  21. I don't disagree they were a bad bunch, I also think the war on terror should never have happened that was all down to oil rather than WMD'S, I'm not completely disagreeing,I once tried to convince an air hostess to spill coffee on cherie Blair when she flew on Ryan Air in a white suit 😂 Anyway back to fishing 😂
  22. Still a lot we can blame Boris for though 😁 The country has been sold a pup by farage and all the other right wing extremists, it was a campaign based on lies, unfortunately we will find out the hard way, and with boris looking out for his mates we won't have an empire to build on it will all be privatised and resting in Gibraltar or some other tax haven
  23. Start low you can always go up but not down 😁
  24. I dunno the tories and there mates have done pretty well out of this pandemic, they received billions in contracts and nurses are still crying out for donations for PPE etc
