what you gotta decide is this, would you want a motion detector, get woken up by 2 or 3 morons that want and are going to nick your gear or sleep through it? if you want to be woken come out and have a go and probably get a damn good kicking then get a motion detector, if you would rather wake up find your stuff gone and be safe to go home to your wife and kids then dont get one. i am the type that if i wake there is no way on this earth some piece of scum is gonna take my gear without a fight and for that reason if it ever happens i hope i am asleep, my gear is insured and if i have to i can live without it. my wife, kids and grandkids however will struggle if i am laid up in hospital out of work, OR DEAD. have heard that it is gangs of gypsies touring from area to area, a couple doing the stealing and a couple watching out

i have said the truth, a mate was there when some were caught and killed. of coarse they never got all of them but they did get 92. contact the NRA or the owner for the truth.

yes mate, i think it is the same one. i know someone that had to be thee and said it was sickening. a club i am involved in offered to rehome some as we have cats legally in a water and had people,vans and tanks on standby but we never got the call. i have been told the owner said if he cant have them no one can? dont know how true this bit is but gutted all the same. biggest cat killed was 52lb if i remember right

most of the cats have been killed mate they were in illegally and the EA netted it and killed all the cats that they caught and burried them on site. thats if your on about the same lake of course

tbh i dont know any where you are BUT, as for being grilled by the owner, i think thats way all owners should be tbh. if i owned my own lake/syndi i would insist on any potential new members to do 48 hours fishing with me before i accepted them onto the lake. that way you can be pretty sure anyone you have fishing your water at least knows what they are doing. it would give you the owner a chance to see how people fish how they handle fish and that they fish in a safe way. if anyone refused or questioned me why then they would not be able to join because as a lake owner you have the right to question anyone that is going to be fishing your lake for thousands of pounds worth of fish. just my opinion of coarse

have a search for the kd rig mate. basically tie the knotless knot but once you have wound round the hook down the hair lift the hair and wind round a couple of times under it. i am so bad at trying to explain things lol, what will happen is where you wind a couple of times under the hair it kicks it out a little. google it and you will find a far better explanation than what i can give lol
