i have fished it, still do come to think of it............best pegs seem to be far end by rail line, but dont worry, the trains are right quiet pegs 8 to 11 -
Think moorgreen is a bit of a closed shop in as much as people dont shout about it, its a lovely looking place with rumours of decent fish google the website for some basic info

Me i dont live nearby, thats the problem why i did not fish it last year, i had membership but ended up at willow pool instead in nene valley after that huge common its about a hundred mile trip for me

Hi tinca and welcome to carp.com most anglers tend to use fairly standard no knot rigs for river carp, same as for lakes, think the key to river carp is prebaiting, getting them used to feeding in one area, i plan to have a go at the river nene this new year, hope to get a couple out!

sorry mate i deleted your identical thread, you only need to post the same thing in one section You might have trouble getting on redmire, they only take bookings one morning in early january each year how about one of rob hales lakes, the monument or weston park, the one lake i would like to fish is acton burnel in shrops -

A1 pits at newark always loads of "vans" in the swims and only a tenner for 24 hours with carp nudging 40lb -

how spooky, i was on a 48 hour sess last week and another angler suggested same venue to me, says it is a total runs water! -
what part of france are you looking at, a lot of the french site owners are members of this forum and if you can be a little more specific you will get some good suggestions

cant recommend sapphire, i did a good few sessions on there and had one carp out, a new pb but defo a hard water and the trains do ya head in!!!

hate to say it but selby 3lakes is not as good as it was a few years back for reasons i wont go into on a public forum. have a look at fairview fisheries, very pretty and some cracking fish to go at
