Yeah mate thats the stuff its nearly black,will have to use a split shot for now till i get paid,i was going to use it on my main line to help it lie flat on the bottom

cheers nevs,i see what you mean now,so would you suggest i would have more or less success with a snowman rig rather than just a single pop-up?I do appreciate all your help mate

Thanks guys,as for what make i couldnt tell you as ive thrown the pack away but im sure it just said carp rig putty,i bought it on tinterweb,i think it was only a couple of quid for a 20gramme pack.Thank you again guys for all the help.chris

hi guys,I bought some rig putty and put some on the rig that i tied.I am pretty sure i heard when its put in the water it will go hard,so i stuck my rig in cold water for 10-15 mins,the problem was it stayed soft but slid up and down the line is there anything i can do to stop this?

Hi guys thak you for the input,I soaked the line for 24 hrs as it said,will this help at all or should i put some washing up liquid on it to help it sink?

Thank you doug,i have tied it to some 12lb adrenaline,and it looked worse thats why i put shrink tube on, to try and straighten it out a bit as i am going to use it as a pop up rig.Do you think i should still tie it mate without the shrink tube?really appreciate your information mate.

Hi guys,How can i tie a hair rig without using a knotless knot?my point being,i have just bought some mugga hooks and as i tied my knotless knot and put a bit of shrink tube on,i thought it was to much of a curve and might miss the lip entirely.Iwas thinking of using a grinner knot.thanx guys.

going to try and get out sometime this week or weekend if poss,all depends on the weird weather we are having at the minute lol.biggest carp so far on rigs is 6lb not a biggie but i must have done something right lol.on float my biggest is 9 an 1/2.so hope to put some pictures of a double with a bit of luck
