    I always fish on my own have done for years, my mates do fish and we always used fished together and I have some great memories but we have all gone into different disciplines of the sport now, I do enjoy fishing on my own for me personally I think I put more effort in when I'm fishing on my own. 👍

    There was just me and one other on for the night, I had two small carp around 7lb and on the second one I got my net caught on some brambles and was pulling it to free it and snapped the spreader block, plastic stinky winky block. So my session was brought to an abrupt end at 2am. I was absolutely gutted mate could not believe it.😭😭😭

    I haven’t been out carping for months! Got waylaid with bass fishing, which led into a winter season off the beaches. Hoping to do a day session after a few carp in a week or two.

    You can't beat being on the beaches mate, I used to love my shore fishing but the travelling got a bit to much for me.

    I might be doing 24hrs on Saturday till Sunday myself. My wife finally starts her treatment tomorrow for 3 days this week, so it all depends on how she's feeling, if she's not too good I won't go. So I might see you Saturday morning. 🙂👍

    Search for beacon view lake and you'll find it mate.👍 the price has gone up a bit since I last went don't think I will be bothering myself. Mirrors and commons to 30lb I think that's being a bit optimistic myself. 🤔

    he’s a 8mth old Staffy cross American Staff, he’s well socialised with people & other dogs. I think he’ll be a too strong to attach him to my bed chair as he’ll probably tow me & the bed chair if he wants too! Lol. I’m going to start him in the garden in the Bivvy for a few nights with my to get him accustomed to tent-life before a serious session.
