    Just had another common about 5lb 👍

    I've been having really heavy showers on and off for most of the night, and I've also had another common 11lb luckily it wasn't raining. 😂🤣

    Yes I had a 12 8 and around 4pm there was an horrendous rain storm never fished anything so bad before and guess what I got a double take, I landed one an other 12 8 and lost the other at the net around the same size and right now I'm sat in an other horrendous rain storm and I'm actually preying they don't go  again. I no shouldn't but I've used all my spare clothes and I don't fancy being p wet all night. 🙄

    I use the whisle app and I don't have any problems and the photos are OK for what I want.

    This is exactly my plan, I know what the bottom is like so I know my usual multi rig approach will work fine, the main difference is fishing a much deeper water. Unfortunately my 24hrs has turned into a day session on Saturday due to being greedy and working overtime on Sunday. But it will still be great to get back on the bank. 😁👍

    I'm out again this weekend for another 24hrs, I'm going to be trying a different club lake Well it's a Reservoir 20 to 25 ft deep a different challenge all together, my usual lake has got a charity carp match on it which Highy is fishing and good luck to him, So I thought I would give somewhere else a go, I have pike fished it and once for the carp with nothing. But it will make a nice change.     I'm thinking of doing 24hrs Sunday, if I can be bothered sorting my gear tomorrow, I'm in one of those can't get the motivation to go fishing at the moment moods, I'm just not feeling it, if I can make the effort I know I'll enjoy when I get on the bank. 😁👍

    Sounds like a bit more serious than what happened to mine mate, my qd was just tighter than normal, sorry I can't help you with that one mate.

    There was nothing broken mate it was just the washers in  the spool that needed re greasing. The free spool  had just gone really tight and wasn't working properly but with a clean and fresh grease it was back to normal. I just bought some washer grease off ebay. What's the problem with yours mate?

    Where do I start, arrived at a relatively quiet lake, bucketed the usual swim as it was free went for a walk round, decided I had a decent chance, got my rods set up LH Ronnie, middle rod multi rig and rh rod solid bag,after pulting quite a lot of boilies out I chucked them out, LH rod is my banker rod and it went out sweet, middle rod was another story about 15 before I was happy, bag rod 1st cast bad, got a birds nest and had to set it up again after handlining the rig back in, redid it happy enough with it, so I was fairly surprised to get a bite within a couple of hours, even more surprising was it was a belter and a new PB, 

    Happy days and there is still time for another, come on the carps

    Angling direct jrc defender carbon composite arms and 1 piece carbon handle 39.99, I bought 1 a few months ago well made and strong, no complaints what so ever. 👍
