Paid Β£440 for the HQ 2man which was a good price I thought. Not even looked at it yet tbh been to busy ! Still in the box π , probably turn up to the lake still in the box ππ
I thought the thought of the day thread was a good one. So I suppose, letβs revive it.
Weβve had a shed load of rain today, as has most the country. Where has summer gone?!
Oh ment to add, https://www.carpparticles.co.uk/ are real goog plus the unit they work from was spanking fresh and clean all big pro boilers kept spotless clean, the shelfies come in a small bucket with tray as well, five kilo in juice.
Just watched a few Vids, 1 with Adam Penning, good bit of kit, the local FR has no Oku.a in stock when i was there....Daiwa, Shimano, Sonik, Prologic and trying to front out there new Westlake range.
highly rated the prologic range, the avenger is real good for no condensation that top wrap with the roof vents work well together, all good quality zips that 360 venting is real nice always got a draft flowing even on still hot days, cooler in the bivvy than outside, the inspire range would be well worth the money.
Yeah I know of loads of places that have started.
Just keep an eye on the place you fish buddy. I always like to give them at least a couple of weeks rest after spawning personally.
Max is on a 15 metre lead, you just can't see it in that pic, can't see that changing any time soon, he's too mad!
George is OK off the lead, I trust him not to go too far, but he still hides close by and scares me silly at least once per trip, on busy lakes he is kept on a lead too.
A blank from oxlease but my mate had a 19lb Common a long fish what yonny would call a cricket bat fish, he also had a 25lb Mirror so made up for himβ¦. I learnt the need to cover all bases and eventualities. I knew the swim I was going to fish a little bay to my left only I access to it and it was a 151/2 wrap cast to under the trees, feed them by hand and cast close to them. Well I fed them by hand cast to them and that was that lol. I should have realised after a day that they were there just to chill and hang out, should have had a plan B taken a marker rod find a spot in open water bit of spod and fish thatβ¦. But what a sight I had up close to carp in gin clear water over a clean sand gravel bottom, hours of just looking at them lol
Apologies for the quality of the pics
