muftyboy Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 (edited) Why so surprised Mufty Edited May 7, 2016 by muftyboy Quote
snowmanstevo Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 Theve got form in the comp I can't deny that. Too win it 3x on the bounce would be amazing but........ Utd (given our rivalry) was always going to be a hard game. Dortmund was a case of how many they was going to beat us by,and was tournament faves. Villereal are a solid 4th in La Liga and don't ship many goals so it was always going to be a hard semi.......... I think Seville will be taking all this into account, but, by no means is it going to be easy. Quote
dalthegooner Posted May 7, 2016 Author Report Posted May 7, 2016 Not according to Dal and he might be right... Nope ; I was wrong Quote
snowmanstevo Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 New Charlton manager ? Didn't stop Burton playing Championship footy next year tho Quote
muftyboy Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Just cracked open a beer to watch the last game at Upton Park. Let's hope it's a goodun Quote

snowmanstevo Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Should be 3-0 hope you lads don't regret those chances ! Quote
muftyboy Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Like that ! I like the final score dalthegooner 1 Quote
snowmanstevo Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Fitting game to end your stay there. I was cheering for your boys Mufty..... Infact, any team that play against Utd Quote
chillfactor Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Mufty, I listened to a bit on the radio ,did Rooney play as bad as they were saying? If so no way he should be in the starting line up in the summer for England he's been poor all season. Quote
snowmanstevo Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Think Rooney had to drop really deep to try and get on the ball,Phil. Not where you'd want him to be. In saying that, Wet Spam played really well and could/should of been out of sight by the end of the 1st half. Would I start Rooney 1st game at the Euros..... Definitely. Quote
chillfactor Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Where though stevo ? You couldn't start him in front of the other strikers. Quote
snowmanstevo Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 I think we'll start with Kane, with Rooney just behind him. Quote
chillfactor Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 I wouldn't have in the team personally. With the lack of form of our wingers I think a diamond with a front two of Vardy / Kane / might be a better option. Quote
muftyboy Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Well Leicester got Bocelli, we got a tone deaf bloke in a baseball cap lol Quote
beanz Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Rooney's goals to games in the euros tournament stage is 5 out of 6 ...But starting him means dropping some real talent, Muhammad Ali, oops, I mean Dele Alli would be better behind, if he plays in midfield then who drops out?? Hendo ?? I'd drop Barkley but don't think he'l start so who knows where Roy will play him. Luckily Delph signed for city to replace another English lad (Rodwell, remember him LOL) I'd like to see Defoe in the squad but think wellcrap ....damn cant spell tonight, I mean Walcott will get in over him, 06 all over again The sad thing is I will leave the bank after a short night on the 16th to go home believing we have the players to beat Wales. muftyboy Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Bit disappointed in the after game ceremony at West ham tonight. No Billy bonds. No mention of Harry redknapp or Geoff Hurst. No lampards. Anton ferdinand and carlton Cole got loads of airtime. In fact I'm very disappointed. Sort it out West ham. Quote
muftyboy Posted May 11, 2016 Report Posted May 11, 2016 Anyway, muft, happy birthday mate, if anybody tells you life begins at 40, they have never been 20. Cheers mate Quote

If so no way he should be in the starting line up in the summer for England he's been poor all season. Rooney has always been inconsistent but he has to go to the euros. Quote
newmarket Posted May 12, 2016 Report Posted May 12, 2016 Big salute to Uncle Sam, he did the impossible again, would i swap him for Slav, never, he may take us down next year or win the European cup, but i love him, play the West Ham way, what the hell, fantastic season. Like the old days mate . Was only ever what was wished for . Quote
dalthegooner Posted May 12, 2016 Author Report Posted May 12, 2016 Martinez has been pumped by Everton. No real surprise as there have been grumbles for months. Shame though, he's a good manager IMHO. Quote
