  4. Always keep my flavours etc in a bucket lol thats gonna stink I did have at least a nice smelling bottle break it was DT baits pineapple chunks
  5. My fishing buddy uses silstar carp rods but they are an old model years ago they were quite common in the uk but they seem to not be pushed so much these days My father in law had a silstar trout rod that was usually the rod that come out of the bag. I inherited (made sure)I got that one when he died as it’s a great rod. thinking about it I can think of quite a number of silstar products used by someone I know over the years
  6. I found this site https://www.ozfinchasers.com.au/product-category/fishing-rods/casting-rods/ I know I could manage with a set up from there so now depends on your budget
  7. Can’t really help there as I’m not sure on Aussie gear names

  17. Nick he is using the 50/50 as an “extra” to top up the mix as I read it.
  18. A 50/50 mix is usually only semolina and soya flour you can buy a kilo of each for about £1 rather than tackle shop price

  20. 200 grams of bird seed? have you asked John his advise on the seed inclusion unless you have a mill to make most of it really fine I would think that would be a nightmare to roll it looks very crumby to me? i would imagine the base mix has all the binders needed
  21. I’ve been watching the fish locker workshop trying to loosen the rusty sea fishing skills.
  22. Use in a well ventilated area is there then
  23. If you get instructions on a kettle I’m sure there will be guidance on a gas bottle as it is an explosive gas I would imagine no one bothers to look though
  24. modern way of life means we don’t need these bivvy heaters when there are modern heated blankets or sleeping bags that run of a power pack. We sit behind a grands worth of rods a grands worth of reels sitting on a grands worth of alarms and sit in a grands worth of tent with a grands worth of tablet.. such a waste
