    When I use the spinner rig I have the crook of the swivel to the back of the hook just in case the silicone splits and the crook damages the mouth any more than just the hook does when in the lip

    Over years then they probably do it is so gradual would you even notice unless you picked up an exact same rod in a brand new u used condition

    I was booked onto a lake before lockdown exclusive hire affair 6 people maximum can book the lake supposed to be 5 of us on for the weekend We got let down last minute so the remaining 4 had to stump up another £30 each all scrambling around the cash point to get the extra money in a one horse town no fun lol

    And those are the only fish that should matter at the time what’s happening on linear, linch hill or even redmire make no difference to where you are fishing

    Went for a walk again there today even took note of wind direction Blue represents fish feeding lol 14 degrees overcast

    get them in the lake or at least a tank with carp in them the aquatic shops are starting to restock now as the weather warms up take a couple with you and grind them up and drop them in the tanks

    *to add * I was walking around the public lake I walk everyday and saw a couple right in the edge about a foot from the bank tails up in the silt. even stopped and watched them for a minute or 2 I could have probably bent down and picked them up. I didn’t take any notice of the wind. They were where they wanted to be

    Fish can’t read the rules but always be certain of one thing expect the unexpected i will never just say I’m fishing swim 4 because the wind is pushing into swim 4. But, I might have a closer look there when I’m walking around though lol.
