  7. It’s the mats that do my swede in… blooming cumbersome unwieldy things. didn’t worry about it in the 80’s and early 90’s lol my latest try is a Aqua atom self inflating one… Probably got 20 mats of different t types and sizes in the shed
  8. Could do worse than have a look at the atomic or rig maroleofferings they make some great hook links that I happily use

  10. Bayfordbury it’s almost essendon out in the sticks in a farmers field walked around it once guys name what runs it is Terry iirc not sure if I still have his number reckon I could find it again on Google maps if you need me to.
  11. Wind knot is a fallacy it’s actually a bad cast knot lol.😂 I get them when fly fishing but I’m not the best caster in the world. dont get many coarse fishing as I tend to keep lines as tight as possible and found when line goes slack is when you get them.
  12. Problem with cool bags is you need the ice blocks and they don’t stay frozen long enough to help any. possibly keep frozen for a couple of hours. better is to use a bottle of water from the freezer and then you can get about a day out of it.
  13. Sounds like a caster job lol
  14. then I had optonics but the basic ones took me years to get a pair lol had to save all my money from “caddying “ at the local golf club as a kid. got cheesed off with them tipping to one side so went to bitech viper and that was even worse.
  15. Very good and very safe like everything if set up correctly

  19. So who’s got the one by the gate? and who’s got the island
  20. Only heard on radio one of those “my mates mate” type talk show. but I can see it happening along with the building on the flood planes Didn’t think anyone died in boscastle floods ??

  22. I’m Sure our club used to do a day trip here tench fishing every year on the punts (not sure if it’s here) I never went for some reason..
  23. Even better the tackle box line test says they measured cm90 at 0.33 not the stated 0.40
  24. Google says These reducers are used to reduce the line capacity of a larger Shimano reel (like the 14000) to a smaller size, such as 6000. How they work: They are designed to clip onto the spool and reduce the line capacity to the Shimano stated 6000 capacity. Reels they fit: The Shimano 6000 spool reducer fits reels like the Aero Technium Magnesium 14000 XTC/XSC, Power Aero 14000 XTB/XSB, and Ultegra CI4 Plus 14000 XTC/XSC/XTB/XSB. Other sizes: Shimano also offers spool reducers in 10000 and 3500 sizes. Line capacity: The 6000 reducer will allow you to spool a 6000 capacity, which is typically around 300 yards of 10lb line. Examples: You can get about 275 yards of 0.33 mono line on a 6000 reducer. Some users have successfully spooled 250 yards of 0.40 mono line with the 6000 reducer. With a 6000 reducer, you can spool 190m of 0.40mm line without any backing. I did t know how they worked but it now makes sense you can find the line capacity of a 6000 reel or 10000 reel to see what they hold and that’s close enough from the look of it
