Even better the tackle box line test says they measured cm90 at 0.33 not the stated 0.40

Google says These reducers are used to reduce the line capacity of a larger Shimano reel (like the 14000) to a smaller size, such as 6000. How they work: They are designed to clip onto the spool and reduce the line capacity to the Shimano stated 6000 capacity. Reels they fit: The Shimano 6000 spool reducer fits reels like the Aero Technium Magnesium 14000 XTC/XSC, Power Aero 14000 XTB/XSB, and Ultegra CI4 Plus 14000 XTC/XSC/XTB/XSB. Other sizes: Shimano also offers spool reducers in 10000 and 3500 sizes. Line capacity: The 6000 reducer will allow you to spool a 6000 capacity, which is typically around 300 yards of 10lb line. Examples: You can get about 275 yards of 0.33 mono line on a 6000 reducer. Some users have successfully spooled 250 yards of 0.40 mono line with the 6000 reducer. With a 6000 reducer, you can spool 190m of 0.40mm line without any backing. I did t know how they worked but it now makes sense you can find the line capacity of a 6000 reel or 10000 reel to see what they hold and that’s close enough from the look of it

I think it depends on the waters fished to the type of angler on it syndicate, club or day ticket will all have a different breed of angler whether that be old or younger ones. as long as they do not interfere with me they can do what they want drone, boat knock yourself out..

It would be easier to hide it happening on a locked fishery. Where fires are usually burning during work parties not like anyone’s gonna grass 😉 **only in jest of course I would not condone it happening 🫣🫣 **

Not sure how much this venue has changed but the access into and out of it is very tight so if you have a transit sized vehicle expect to work on the steering. also very easy to miss the turning into the lane. there was another access point in a housing estate but that was mainly for parking for the other lake. there are a few lakes in very close proximity to each other. good luck to those going. how much is a ticket now if you can get one. -
You can use an alternative centrepin cast with a fixed spool reel pull line of the eyes and hold in one hand swing rod out let line go good for under trees
-
I got one from the tackle box years ago for when we only had 2 leg bedchair lol quest I think made it
-
Proper old school start on the kiddie lakes and work up to the men’s lakes lol well done
-
Any will work. if fish are like humans some may hate it 🫣🫣😜
-
Can’t see an otter being put off by a camera lol least it lets you know they are in there if you see them on it
-
It wouldn’t but Use a map pin if you are worried and hook it around that.
-
Take it apart and check for spiders that allegedly can’t get in
-
The other problem with taking too much gear is the length of time it takes to move if the fish show at the other end of the lake then you just can’t be bothered to move. theres a fine line between not taking enough and enough to cover everything. i also carried a bucket of spare bits in the van for that very reason. Mini weed rake, spomb, bank saw, gravel eater, even the gardener multi rake silly bits that could stuff you up if you didn’t have them
-
I say the same about most accessory kit bags lol. got hundreds of them In the sheds
