Not a maker either so Imo It’s knowing what is actually in the bait not saying all fillers are bad but you can afford to put in better quality ingredients and come out the same as a shop bought boilie. if I was only using 1 kilo a time i would want that 1 kilo to give me the best chance going rather than 10kilo of lesser quality a well thought out £6 home produced boilie SHOULD be significantly better than a £6 shop bought boilie.

Put this post on the “ other “ forum haha dare ya… Only heard of them through another forum. its easy to produce a bait that fish will pick up as carp will put anything in their mouth to try it. watch them in a tank. its marketing that sells now..

Can always use the pellet band a tight hair as well so use anything pull it through the bait and use a piece of grass as a stop not a fool proof method but if something turns up in the swim it’s quickly doable.

Just leave it set up somewhere to air it but keep it up. i did that with a pair of nylon waders that stunk to high heaven. Then Try Nikwax cleaner or some other cleaner And go over it a couple of times then air again losing the waterproof properties wouldn’t bother me per se as you can add that back on after.
