  1. Most of the chub stuff I had was or is pretty good I still have an S plus 1 man bivvy a rod holdall the padded one with cover in the top the Highly sought after one. a couple of carryall type bags a ruck sack A boilie cool bag and a couple of method mix bags I think. probably more I can’t remember north western pfluger (sp) winfield 3 I miss lol
  2. I tend to keep most of my kit on a barrow under a cover. take if off barrow when needed and put it back when it’s not. just put your bait buckets on the floor and put the kit on top of that at a push.
  3. Not used them but sweetcorn would be a cheaper move viable option rather than boilies spotted fin used to do a sweetcorn flavour boilie still do spottedfin.com also do a groundbait in corn tails up do a sweetcorn shaped pop up tailsup.co.uk If that helps
  4. Shame Was always superb service whenever I used them
  5. you used a line aligner 👏
  6. Other costs to add the eggs method of boiling the water god forbid time… lol
  7. Stiff section boom Soft hinged section multi rig ala combi rig
  8. I have all the above powders but I use them if I’m rolling baits. 👍 I don’t think you can say the molasses caught that fish unless the bait you had on the hook contained it. now, whether the molasses being in the vicinity helped or not that is another question.. again it all boils down to confidence in what you are doing. and you, now, seem to have plenty of confidence so keep on doing it your way
  9. Me, I like the aniseed and don’t see any need to alter it. again, it’s just confidence. possibly, maybe, it’s because my all time favourite boilie flavour is bun spice from SBS from the 90’s. I like the “spicy” elements in my mixes rather than sweet.
  10. Could ask carlo at inflatable boat fishing.com if he hires hes based in Sussex I think
  11. It would probably work out about the same to hire as to buy. admittedly, you would get a deposit back if it was ok at the end of your trip. Pirates cave ( Rochester) do an inflatable 2.3m for 340£ You could use it and flog it on when you get back
  12. I used to add them to groats. even naked groats adds a nice subtle milk into the water
  13. Like I said don’t neglect the store cupboard lol Would only need a teaspoon or 2 5l would last a lifetime If you are not using the aniseed version then yes no problems adding something to it of course. ( try butyric acid… ) At the end of the day you are happy using it then that is all that matters 👍
  14. If it’s the aniseed version I can’t see the point in adding molasses to it personally if it is plain then Yes but each to their own you could also just mix some marmite with hot water and get that yeasty effect never neglect the cupboards at home for alternative liquids or powders
  15. I thought the tackle box did but hazy recollections now think it’s bait boats they hire. where you based and what do you actually want to hire life jackets gps fish finders engines batteries etc
  16. Salt can cause issues with hemp splitting I have kept it with and without water
  17. Freeze it for future use 👍💪
  18. Not had that one for ages
  19. Just keep it simple in a bag.
  20. Only need a bit of groundbait in your munga mix or scald the pellet you are already using and sling one out …
  21. Could be a number of things estate lake silt feeders have softer mouths thats gravel pit carp using a hook is going to cause mouth damage of some description only way to stop it 100% is to stop fishing. are you using the hook swivel the correct way around so the open crook on the swivel is at the back? that makes a difference
  22. Think that’s everyone lol
  23. Method feeders are usually tied with around a 3” hook length.. they work
  24. Has it been bent in anyway and needs moving closer to the burner?
  25. Wonder how quick they will go out of fashion lol
