I generally use around 12” wide bars on the front and as small as I can on the rear.

To me they look like a middle man especially for boilies when you could get them direct. looking deeper into it the owner has take. On a couple of lakes that pooped out.

I usually go the minimalist route so just use adjustable cross bars that are stored in the barrow. if I don’t want that set up to move at all I add stage stands and screw them into the platforms where I can. My buzz bars I can change from single stick to cross bar so I do have a very versatile set up with no real extra weight. -

I think the problem with these forced large carp is they don’t last he said he thinks big rig died through spawning but the. It was an old fish at 15….. didnt some of the leney fish get to around 60 or 70 years old… if they float your boat then knock yourself out not my kind of fish so couldn’t see myself ever fishing those kind of waters.

Welcome back I am on a 3-4 year carp break so far lol Last Time I went was when they opened after lockdown then when the angling trust said oh look what we have done to get everyone back out, I didn’t go again. the fish haven’t changed but the amount of stinky winky you can buy to catch one has lol use what you had last time out with the same set up and you will still catch one.
