  4. Ace i3 or fox dxr originals , I have the best of both worlds vibration and roller wheel lol Had ATTS since they come out only ever changed batteries once never any problems with them despite no sound put of the head. the remotes never packed up either despite all the early worries by some folks and have fox sx albeit modded by dalectronics to remote system and blue leds also had Neville’s
  5. I tend to have the heads turned right down to silent and only have the remote on low the ace i3 had a mute function press a button on the side and it goes silent for 30 seconds then resets to on again.
  6. it’s all the same regurgitated stuff how many ways can you tie a ronnie try this super duper slip” E “ rig how to set up a chod here’s a review that isn’t a review because we don’t want to upset the advertisers. even podcasts now all have the same stories from the same guests at least the baitworks ones you tend to get old school anglers who you don’t normally get in the mags etc
  7. Last magazine I bought carpology Jan 2020 last blog would have been joe Morgan’s carp angle around the same time podcast however all the time carp fishing baitworks podcast Nash korda carp chronicles when he can be bothered to do one and if it’s not”too heavy”
  8. Or most trendy… because some of the top boys use them
  9. Wow
  10. I wouldn’t have thought there would be much difference tbh
  11. Could you imagine the scene 5000 acre ressie 10 anglers all fishing within 50 yards of each other because all the fish are spread out over 200 yards of one bank all these anglers sent up a drone to find the fish first from the car park… or just pull up to the gate on the local water leave the van running. send up the drone to find the fish then go home after 5 minutes because you couldn’t see them.
  12. Not sure what you mean by the question But it depends on the swim and distance required
  13. I dont know of any unless you are one of the great unwashed “professionals” doing a feature or promo video
  14. You can add a fish finder as an extra if you feel inclined or need one so you don’t have to buy a lower standard bait boat just because it has a fish finder on it.
  15. Have you tried speaking to wychwood direct as they may have been discontinued by now that may be the only route you have to get some
  16. Went to have a look for a few bits through the web shop and absolutely everything is out of stock. has this gone on the back burner for now ?
  17. You haven’t defrosted it yet lol
  18. Try to Put the middle rod in the opposite way around that how I had to do mine on the set that I used Mines the Cotswold stalker rod sleeve
  19. I haven’t bought a shimano reel since the XTB came out most of them now feel “plasticky”
  20. Sod using water you pay for… use water butt water if you don't want to use good old tap water..
  21. The albrite knot whips up say 7 turns and back down say 5 like a mahin knot the trick is to keep the whippings tight not spread out up the line and make sure you go back through the loop the same way. the real difference is a mahin knot has the overhand knot in the leader and the albrite just tucks through a loop. not tried this myself but I have just thought about half a mahin knot and half grinner knot the leader and grinner on the mainline if it works I’ll call it a grinnin lol i also use another knot that is a cross between a grinner and a blood knot I’ve never had that come undone.
  22. Try it with a different leader material just in case try mono doesn’t matter what BS
  23. Stopped rolling I thought still selling bits and mixes
  24. When done properly it gives a lovely carrot shaped knot
