  1. Use in a well ventilated area is there then
  2. If you get instructions on a kettle I’m sure there will be guidance on a gas bottle as it is an explosive gas I would imagine no one bothers to look though
  3. modern way of life means we don’t need these bivvy heaters when there are modern heated blankets or sleeping bags that run of a power pack. We sit behind a grands worth of rods a grands worth of reels sitting on a grands worth of alarms and sit in a grands worth of tent with a grands worth of tablet.. such a waste
  4. My brother in law and his son almost went a few years ago he was lucky he woke up with a headache his son was only about 10 at the most.
  5. 12” of lead free or leadcore loop in one end and a big loop in the mainline then loop to loop them on 12” gives a nice amount out the back of the bag. don’t use the plastic stem to be extra safe just the buffer bead to hold the swivel in
  6. Because people want to pay £4.95 a kilo lol Regular price is 10.95 a kilo so that either a great bargain or something has changed in their baits
  7. One last cast or one more cast ?
  8. Still, congrats are in order
  9. Nash it is then
  10. I know that IF I crack off (can’t actually remember when I last did) everything is coming off especially with such a short amount of it jamming the lead clip tail rubber on I do that when I am storing the rods so when I put a lead on and hook the rubber back on it actually works as it should because the tail rubber bore is larger than it actually should be. I suppose after 45 years as an angler I know how to fish safe as I don’t get bogged down by the videos etc.
  11. The bottom pic look like one of those Korda drop lead things
  12. To be fair , even if both were your advocated running rigs nothing is coming off with that much line on them sorry Nick but my opinion is that isn’t leadcore fault As both rigs have lead clips maybe should go for those as well. I do agree that not used carefully it can be a real hazard but to blanket ban the use is harsh personally there is no need for anyone to tie rigs wrong with the plethora of videos there are around now a days. I happily use lead core but the lengths I use are usually around 1 foot- 18” maximum and that is only if there is weed so I have a bit of protection. mine is usually tied using the Keith moors knot so it’s actually a Knotless knot for leadcore or I will needle knot it.
  13. Top picture looks like tubing ?
  14. Just had a look at his fb page still stands good luck to him whatever or where ever he lays his hat
  15. None of my current rods lol if I could go back it would be either my 2 old fox green barbel rods 1 1/2lb tc or the old masterline John Wilson Avon quiver rod that everyone had when we were growing up. or dam 11 ft quicksilver carp rod 2lb tc my first “proper” carp rod my reel would be my ltd edition youngs centre pin bought for me by my mrs years ago for Xmas my landing net would be my north western I still have that but the pole I snapped which was an ultra cult reverse taper carbon handle
  16. Looks like he is leaving rather than being pushed I would reckon he will go to thinking anglers as he uses sticky baits anyway or Gardner would be a good one for him
  17. Good luck to him what ever or wherever he decides to go or do
  18. I’m wrong mine is the jungle blanket
  19. I have the liners and they are great for use even as a summer bag
  20. They probably do a spares or repair kit like they do with the ATTS system
  21. Speak to dal henwood at dalectronics on Facebook he will know
  22. Unfortunately I do know a few members but they would not stand up for anyone they didn’t know as their tickets would be at risk. im not a member
